I have been using this shampoo along with the conditioner and the mask for a month now and I totally adore the complete range. The whole hair care range from l’occitane has done wonders to my hair and the day and I totally going to stick with the range.
This shampoo is a semi liquidy transparent shampoo. It is meant for dry and dull hair. It contains 5 essential oils (Angelica, Lavender, Geranium, Ylang-Ylang and Patchouli ), which I feel work pretty well for my hair.
I would just like to mention that hair care products work different for different people so this one in particular has worked very well for my hair.
It lathers well, smells good and rinses easily. It is not a super mild shampoo but slightly on the mild side only. This shampoo is suitable for daily use. It never feels harsh on hair. It has never caused any extra hair fall. Infact I feel this complete range has controlled my hair fall. I just loose a few strands of hair every now and then but nothing major. It rinses off oil in two washes. You don’t need a lot of product to clean your scalp. Btw it cleans the scalp pretty well. And it does not make my scalp greasy or oily. I personally like the mild herbaly kind of fragrance. It does not weigh down my hair. I have pretty hard water here in Delhi, still I don’t need tons of water to rinse it off. It does not rip off moisture from my hair. Does not leave any residue behind. Does not contain SLS.
This shampoo is strictly meant for those with dry hair and scalp. If you have oily scalp, steer clear of this one. This contains essential oils so it would not work for people who already have oily scalp. It may make your scalp oily only.
Comes with a flip top cap with small opening so you can control the amount of product. The bottle is translucent so you can see the amount of product left in your bottle. Best, L’occitane follows the co friendly standards so once your shampoo gets over, you can buy the eco refill. :))
