It has been a solid year since I am off coconut oil for my hair. While it moisturised my hair, it made it sticky and weighed it down too. So, I had been trying out Argan oil and Tsubaki oil interchangeably instead and experienced some good results. But, I made a turnaround and came back to Argan oil after seeing this product topping the charts in the beauty industry. When I read the words ‘hair treatment oil’ with the combination of Argan oil, I fell for it and bought it instantly. Let’s see how it works.

Product Description:
A hair treatment oil made use of the super hit high purity “Argan oil”, it gives you an instant moisture nourishment on hair ends, forms a an ultra thin veil on hair surface and gives a smooth touch, leaves it smooth, glossy, fresh, and without greasy feeling. For all hair types.

How to Use:
Dispense 1 or 2 pumps in the palm of your hands and rub to warm the product up and apply from the middle to the end of your hair. Hand-comb to distribute it well. Can also be used on shampooed and towel-dried hair before blow drying as heat protectant.

It comes in a tinted glass bottle with a secure pump with a lid attached. The pump clicks shut. While, I think it is quite sturdy, there is also a change of breakage (if you are clumsy like me) since it is a glass bottle. I will decant this into another container for travel.

My Experience with Lucido-L Japan Argan Rich Oil Hair Treatment Oil:

I have curly and frizzy hair that is often dry and in need of moisture. This is a transparent liquid and the first thing you notice about it, even before you put it on, is the amazing scent. The top note is supposed to be of fruits like apples and peaches, middle notes of jasmines and roses, and last notes of musk and wood. I am terrible at describing and understanding the notes of a fragrance, so I am just going to say it smells unbelievably good and the scent lasts for a good time on my hair.

This is the most non-sticky oil that I have ever tried. Even serums and other oils I have used leave a sticky or tacky residue behind, but this one does not. It glides on and spreads into the hair very easily. Once I hand-comb it, it detangles my hair to a degree and makes blow drying an easier task. I find much less frizz after I blow dry than when I use no product at all after shampooing my hair. I also feel it provides good amount of hydration to the hair. I usually end up using about 3 pumps for the entirety of my hair.

It is also supposed to protect hair against UV rays, so that is a huge plus in my book. This will prevent future damage to the hair. It is especially useful for people who have colour-treated hair. It also protects against heat, so it is also a styling product. But, I prefer to go over with another heat-protectant product before straightening my hair, but this certainly helps. I love multi-purpose products because they end up saving you a lot of money down the line. This product also comes in 2 other versions: a cream and a gel texture, so you can choose the one that suits you best. I would love to try the cream next, because I believe it will provide more hydration.
