NYX Copper Sparkle Diamond Sparkle Lipgloss Review

I bought two of the NYX lipglosses from their ‘Diamond Sparkle’ collection. This one is for my mom. Let’s see how it fares.

My Experience with NYX Copper Sparkle Diamond Sparkle Lipgloss:

Packaging:
These lip glosses come in a transparent tube with a matte black cap. I really love the very simple, yet so attractive packaging. The matte black cap makes a world of a difference in the overall appearance. The body is really strong and won’t break if it falls. The applicator is a crooked, long doe foot applicator. The applicator is user friendly. I like the small and a bit chubby packaging. You can easily toss the gloss in your handbag. I know that rhymed! 😀

Color/Pigmentation:
I was looking for a brown lip gloss because my mom uses mostly brown matte lipsticks for work. So, I thought a brown lip gloss would be a nice change. This is a classic brown lip gloss with tons and tons of shimmer in it. I did not anticipate the amount of shimmer that transfers on the lips.

It’s a bit too much, honestly. A little shimmer is appreciated, but this is way too much shimmer to handle. The only way out here is to use just a little bit of gloss. Otherwise, you end up looking like a shimmer ball. The pigmentation is okayish. The brown shows up less, but the golden shimmer stands out like no one else’s business!

Texture:
It just feels a tiny bit gritty that too if your purse your lips hard. I like the consistency of the gloss. It moisturises to a certain extent, but it’s a complete no-no for dry lips.
