I had been eyeing these blushes and finally bought four of these in my recent makeup haul. They have a very classy, sophisticated look and come in multiple shades, in matte and shimmer finish. Since they were newly launched by NYX, I had to have them. Read further to know more about this shade.

My Take on NYX Double Dare High Definition Blush:
This blush reminds me of NARS blushes because they have HD finish and awesome pigmentation, but are a better deal because they are much cheaper and still a good competition for the high end blushes.
Packaging: Product comes in a plastic pan – square with curved corners. The compacts are slim and sleek, and they include the signature NYX bow clasp. Product is set in an aluminum pan and the lid is clear and see-through which makes color identification easier.
Texture: It’s a compact powder blush with little fallout and no shimmer. One can dab off the excess from the brush while applying to remove any loose pigment. It tends to fly around a lot so just a light sweep at a time is enough, otherwise it refuses to budge or blend.
Color: The shade is coral color with red undertones and this color can work out for most of us, but is not something I would wear often because orange and corals don’t really complement my skin.
Pigmentation: It offers awesome pigmentation when applied with a fluffy blush brush. One sweep is enough for both my cheeks, in fact more than that might look too garish and unnatural. This blush is intensely pigmented and one needs a very light hand during application, even if skin tone is deep. I looked like a clown the first time I wore this. Seriously, start with just the tiniest dab on your blush brush and work up from there if you think you need more (you probably won’t).
Shimmer and shine: It has no shimmer or shine, and gives a natural, matte finish.
Wear time: Staying power is really impressive and it easily lasts the entire day or till it is removed.
Conclusion: This is a very pretty blush which comes in 24 shades. It gives a very pretty flush to face and if paired with right eye shadow and lip color, it can totally complement the look. The shade range caters to all skin tones and there is something for everyone.
