Olay Skin Adapt Scrub
Hi gals,
Hope you all are doing fine? Here we had a straight 3 day holiday, sadly, it has come to an end. Now again back to the hectic routine of sending kids to school, home work etc. I really look forward to writing for IMBB whenever I get time, and at times my husband asks me’ Have you finished writing your story”, lol. Today I am here to review a face scrub from Olay. Like Dove, Olay is also one of my trusted skin care brand. I have never had any bad experience with the brand. So lets see whether this product impressed me or not.

My experience with Olay Skin Adapt Scrub
The face scrub comes in an inverted tube packing with pastel shades and a light blue flip open cap. The cap shuts with a tight click and can be very travel friendly. The gel comes out in a very controlled manner, there is no over-spilling of the contents.
It is a gel-based scrub, light blue in colour with tiny blue granules, varying in size. The granules are not closely packed and not at all harsh. It has the ideal texture necessary for a facial scrub, neither too harsh nor too soft. It is just perfect to rub on the skin, one need not have the fear of hurting your skin in any way.
The gel scrub has a runny texture and spreads easily on your face. As the granules are spaced wide apart, it gives a more soft feeling to your face rather than harsh abrasion and helps in removing all the dirt and impurities from your face. It cleanses your pores thoroughly and gives an instant freshness. It also controls the oil formation to great extent. I have a dry to combination skin, after a wash it makes my skin a little stretchy, nothing over the top. But my skin feels very soft and smooth.
It also has a lovely fragrance, not floral or fruity, but a subtle fresh scent that can calm our senses. The scrub does not lather much but gives a squeaky clean feel. Overall I love the performance of this product, so lets sum up the pros and cons.
Pros of Olay Skin Adapt Scrub
- The scrub has a bit runny texture which spreads easily on your face and easy to wash off.
- The granules in the scrub vary in size and are spaced wide apart and does not feel harsh on your face. It is a gel-based scrub great for oily or combination skin and gives a squeaky clean effect.
- It helps in removing all dirt and impurities and controls the sebum production. It has a lovely and soothing fragrance.
- The packing is quite sturdy making it very travel friendly.
Cons of Olay Skin Adapt Scrub
- It gives a light stretchy feeling post cleansing, nothing too irritating.
- Contains parabens.
IMBB rating:
4.5/5. I would recommend this for all oily and combination skinned beauties, it is perfect for the skin type. But dry and extremely dry skin can skip this.
Would I repurchase Olay Skin Adapt Scrub?
Yes, definitely, this is going to there in my stock forever.
Thanks.
