Revlon PhotoReady Berry Sculpting Blush Palette Review

Hello everyone!!

Don’t we all love palettes! I own numerous eyeshadow and lip palettes and recently I have started to hoard blush palettes. They come very handy when you are travelling or want to create different looks using minimal products. Before I was introduced to IMBB, I wasn’t a makeup person but now everyone in my family and friends turn to me for makeup related advice. I have already reviewed Pink Rose shade from Revlon Photoready Sculpting Brush Palette which turned out to be a complete dud. Another shade that I am going to review today is Berry. Read on to find why it is better than its  counterpart.

My take on Revlon PhotoReady Berry Sculpting Blush Palette :

The packaging of this palette is very sleek and sturdy. It comes in a rectangular shaped black pan. It has a transparent part on its lid which makes it easy to see the products in the palette. It also has a small mirror and a not-so-good brush which come very handy while travelling. Overall the packaging of this palette is quite satisfactory. The blush is of deep mauvish-pink, the contour shade is light bronze shade whereas the highlighter is cream in color. All the threes shades have shimmer in them which give a very glowing skin effect on the cheeks. The texture is soft and gives a very natural look. It is a palette perfect for office or everyday wear.

Coming on to the pigmentation, this shade lacks in this department. I wanted to do a FOTD with this palette but my efforts completely went in vain as it is not that visible in the pictures. It is a palette which needs a lot of effort to show up. It has a lot of fallout in the pan. The fallout is so evident that I guess all the three products might get mixed up. The staying power of this palette is quite low. It stays on for 2 to 3 hours and then you definitely need a touch up. Had it been a little bit more pigmented, it would have been my go-to palette, but I am a bit disappointed with this one. You can see in the swatches that the three products are hardly visible on my fingers. I literally had to dig up to get a good pic but even that failed.

Pros of Revlon PhotoReady Berry Sculpting Blush Palette :

• You get a blush, contour blush and highlighter in one palette.
• Packaging is very sleek and sturdy.
• Glides easily on cheeks.
• Gives a very natural and glowy look.
• Paraben-free

Cons of Revlon PhotoReady Berry Sculpting Blush Palette :

• A lot of fallout.
• Very poorly pigmented.
• Staying power is below average.
• Needs a lot of product to make it visible on face.

IMBB rating:

2/5

Would I recommend Revlon PhotoReady Berry Sculpting Blush Palette ?

I have a love-hate relationship with this palette. I love it because it is perfect for everyday or when I want to achieve a natural look but it has very poor staying power. If you are fair skinned you would like this palette as it would give you a very glowing look. Because it has poor pigmentation, it won’t be use of much use to medium or dark skinned beauties.
