I have started doing and tying a lot of makeup products these days (with to IMBB), and I wanted to buy a bronzing brush which is not very expensive. With the same thought I bought one from Superdrug and that is what I will review today.
My experience with Superdrug Bronzing Brush:
The brush comes in simple and cute pink and black plastic see through wrapper. Since this was the first time I was investing in the brush I wanted something that is not very expensive and is easy to use. Superdrug is a decent brand and I actually like its products as I am a beginner in the makeup. Well the brush’s handle is made of wood and is covered with black rubber- the rubber handle makes the grip very sturdy and comfortable. The handle is chubby and I love this fact because it makes it very easy to hold apply. Coming to main part that is the hair- which is made of goat hair (I asked the lady at the counter) and is very soft and is very effective in blending process. I must mention that I have been using this brush for over 2 months now and I am so totally enjoy using it. I use it not only for bronzing (as the name says) but also for applying TBS extra mineral loose powder and also to apply cream blushes. This brush is apt to apply on larger parts of your face such as cheeks, neck and forehead- the bristles of the brush is very good and totally justifies the even look that you would have wished for. Although I will certainly not recommend using this brush on nose, eyes –basically the little corners as this is the wide shaped brush and will not be suitable to fill small corners nicely. I have washed this brush many times and nothing has happened to its hair or shape. The brush is very easy to wash and dries out nicely if left overnight.
Pros of Superdrug Bronzing Brush:
• Very soft bristles.
• Makes blending process easy and even.
• Love the chubby handle that makes it easy to hold and apply.
• Does not shed or looses it shape.
• Multiple uses- powder, bronzing, blushing and foundation.
• Picks up the product well.
• Excellent for beginners.
• Price is super nice. Totally affordable for this quality.
Cons of Superdrug Bronzing Brush:
• Availability is the issue. Only available at Superdrug store and their websites.
• Made up of animal hair :-(
Would I repurchase Superdrug Bronzing Brush?
Not this one (till this one lasts) but will surely try other brushes from Superdrug range.
Do I recommend Superdrug Bronzing Brush?
If like me you are a beginner and are looking for a decent brush at low price that bang on- look no further and pick this one up.
Hope you like it. Bye till then
