Traditional Saree in Black and Maroon- Outfit of the Day

Hello Ladies,

Hope you all are doing well.  Its been quite some time since I have done an outfit post, so I am back with one today. I told you about my sister-in-law’s marriage held a few months ago.  I bought quite a few number of sarees back then. This is one of them, and I wore it for a simple evening get-together between both the families. The saree is a traditional one made of pure jute silk and quite comfortable to carry. I love the color of the saree, which is a combination of black and maroon. So, here are a few pictures of what I was wearing that day. Hope you like it :)

Traditional Saree in Black and Maroon Outfit of the Day

The saree is really a pretty one with awesome color combination.

Maroon saree

It is lightweight, and yet a gorgeous one, with thick thread embroidery on the borders.

Black Saree

It is a pure raw jute silk saree with geometric patters and a rich border, a mix of contemporary as well as the traditional.

Black and Maroon Saree

To complement it, I wore a maroon meenakari neck piece and polki earrings. I also wore multicolored jaipuri lac bangles.

Earrings

Make up as usual was light with some foundation, eyeliner, peach eye shadow, kajal and lipstick in brick-red shade.

Golden Clutch

Completed the look with a golden clutch and a pair of simple wedge heels!

Wedge Heels
