I am loving the winters and the laziness too, but for me, winter comes with its own peril as I have dry and flaky skin. I have to religiously scrub and moisturize during these months and that is my secret to baby soft skin 😛 Let’s see how this scrub fared for me.

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Amber Romance Smoothing Body Scrub:

I am a huge fan of sugar scrubs and it does not matter what it smells like because I love the end results on my skin, so when I have a scrub that smells good too, what more could I possibly ask for *happydance* *happydance* . I have used walnut scrubs, oatmeal scrubs and the sugar scrubs and I have never looked back again after using these sugary goodies and have my own home-made coffee sugar scrub as well. These Victoria’s Secret scrubs come in the standard tube packaging with flip top cap.  I got these along with the other Victoria’s Secret products I had ordered. The tube is orangey yellow with a golden shimmer cap with a decent size opening for the gooey scrub to come out. I use it after a warm shower when the pores open up, that does the trick of deep cleansing*haanji*.

The texture of the scrub is moderately gritty, if you have sensitive skin, it won’t irritate any further. The scrub melts on your skin and lathers while rubbing and leaves behind soft and fragrant skin. One thing that must be noted while using this, please do not use too much of water to scrub this as it would all wash away, moist skin is just perfect for it to work. I love this smell as its warm and amber-y, woody, vanilla.  I love it in summer and more during winters as it wraps me in an aroma of warmth and comfort.

I have the body butter in the same variant which I use after the scrub, the scent lasts for more than 4-5 hours on me. If you love the smell, you could buy the mist, EDT and body lotion from the same range.  The best thing about these Victoria’s Secret products is that you can choose and make your own choices among an array of incredible products. I love more of woody and warm scents but I somehow don’t like fruity ones, so you can pick yours. I wonder when these brands are going to come here …sigh!!!!
