Packaging:
The shadows come individually packaged in a plastic sleeve – like a refill packaging. The same is then enclosed in a cardboard cover which has the product name and ingredients mentioned on it. Apart from that, the name is also mentioned on the flip side of the eyeshadow itself. I thing the packaging is excellent. Not a single of eyeshadow was shattered upon arrival. The metal pans are easy to pop into a magnetic palette – like a Z-palette. Alternatively, you can also pick a empty palette from the ABH site.

My Experience with Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadow Single Comfort:

Shade:  The shade “Comfort” is a medium dark frosted bronze-y warm brown color. This one will be a neutral lover’s dream. Though it looks fairly “meh” in the pan, it just comes alive on the eyes. It pulls more medium with a brush but can be easily built up. I had thought this would be difficult to pull off because of it being so dark and yet having a frosted sheen, it was actually a dream to work with.

I kind of like the way the look turned out with this shadow. In the EOTD that I have shared, I have used this in the inner half of the lid and the shade Chocolate (reviewed earlier) in the outer half, with “Sienna” (yet to be reviewed) in the crease and Fudge (yet to be reviewed) in the outer V to create more definition.

Texture: The texture is buttery smooth, quite like the shade “Sangria.” It feels that the shade will pull a tad bit dense, but it actually isn’t and neither does it emphasise texture of the skin. It is extremely easy to work with and did not kick up any dust – as most ABH shadows do. There was no fall out with this one. It works well with other shades and is a dream to blend.

Pigmentation: The shade has excellent pigmentation. It is absolutely “spot-on” stunning!!! It takes very little effort to apply and show up true to pan.

Staying Power:  I apply my eyeshadows over a primer because my lids are way too oily – shimmer shades start creasing and becoming mush. This shade gave about 9 hours of wear time before showing signs of fading. With a primer, it does not crease on me.

Pros of Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadow Single Comfort:

  • A stunning bronze warm brown – a neutral lover’s dream.
  • Excellent pigmentation.
  • It does not emphasise texture of my skin.
  • Excellent wear time – with primer – about 9 hours plus.
  • Buttery smooth texture.
  • Does not kick up any dust unlike most ABH shades.

Cons of Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadow Single Comfort:

  • Nothing.

IMBB Rating:
5/5

This one is such a stunning shade! This is a shade I would totally recommend because despite looking intimidatingly dark and meh in the pan – it is so easy to work with and create a beautiful look in minutes. The quality is absolutely top notch.
