By now, my family and friends would have started to perceive me as a crazy woman. The moment I hear someone coming from abroad or planning a trip there, I have my list ready. I give my list of buys to people and then, I give them sleepless nights by uncountable follow-ups until they send me pictures of my stuff they had bought. Then, comes the waiting part. I wait like how a class 10th kid waits for the board exam results. Once they reach India, I again beg them to courier the products from whichever part of the country they are residing in. Today’s review is also about one such product. I had sent my friend to Sephora New York with a list of things. And, he could only get the last one on my preference list, because rest everything was out of stock! I again adjured him to get it exchanged for something else but, he did not go back again as he felt, there were too many guys staring at him at Sephora! Ha ha, poor soul! My Experience with Anastasia Beverly Hills Kathryn Liquid Lipstick:
The packaging is similar to all Anastasia Liquid lipsticks. It comes packaged in a transparent tube and a golden cap. The lipstick comes housed in a black cardboard box that bears all the product-related information. The doe foot applicator is perfect for a precise application. The consistency of the lippie is very mousse-like, not at all watery or streaky. One swipe is enough to provide an opaque color payoff to the lips.
Kathryn is one of the under-rated shades from this range. Described as ‘Brown Berry Matte’, this shade is hands down one of the gorgeous shades I have used so far. I am not into brown hues at all but, this shade stole my heart. I was desperate to order some liquid lippies from ABH, and that desperation lead me to put this shade on my list. I would say, it is more of a mature shade, but one of the best shades I have ever tried. Pairing it with berry, plums and brown eyeshadows would be a perfect match. It will suit all skin tones and can be used as an everyday shade to the office. On application, it looks more like a berry shade, but once it settles, it looks like a warm-toned soft brown color.
The applicator applies the lipstick perfectly on my lips, and the lipstick does not feather or bleed. There is no tugging or pulling either. It survives a heavy meal as well. One thing that I like most about the lipstick shades which are close to our complexion is, even if the color fades away from the inside of our lips, it is not very noticeable. Of course, we can reapply, but that does not become a priority of the moment, which is an added advantage.

Like I said, this is one of the most under-rated products from the range. Appropriate for office or daily wear. It is also a perfect match for any heavy eye makeup. Worth the buy!
