Skin Tone- Medium, NC42, warm undertones
Continuing with the Chambor madness, here’s the review on shade #482 from Chambor’s Transferproof Liquid Lipstick range. I find this shade to be universally flattering and till date I have been using this shade the most. Read on to more on this lipstick.
INR 845/- for 6 ml.
A long-lasting transfer proof liquid lipstick with a smooth sensorial feel and a creamy matte finish. Its extreme matte coverage provides a deep intense color in just one stroke.
My Experience with Chambor Extreme Wear 482 Transferproof Liquid Lipstick:
Starting with the packaging, I have to say I like the simplicity of it. It would have been great if there were names given to these lipsticks because now you have to remember the shade number and the corresponding shade. Though the body is see-through, but addition of name would have been good. I find the applicator quite user friendly, but if you have very thin lips, you have to be a bit careful. Description and ingredients are mentioned on the outer paper carton.
The texture of the lip color is very smooth and lightweight. It is very pigmented and one swipe covers every bit of the lip pigmentation, if any. I really like how it does not cake up and does not just sit on the lips like a sticky lacquer. It seems just like your own lips. I would definitely suggest a lip balm underneath to avoid the lips getting dry after a while. Also, it would be nice if you scrub the lips to form an even base for the color.
The shade #482 is an amazing every day shade with a bit brown to pinky mauve shade. Office goers can totally depend on this particular color as it is sophisticated and formal. I like the hint of brown in the shade as it adds some richness to the shade; very Kylie type of a shade, which is rage since a pretty long time. This is my go-to color as it looks good with any attire and any makeup look. When in doubt, just reach out for this shade, apply some kohl and walk out of the door.
Coming to the staying power, I have to admit it was a pain to remove this lipstick. It stayed on my lips till the time I removed it with a makeup remover. Once set, it does not move or smudge a bit. You would need an oil-based makeup remover to take it off, and it does not leave any stain behind.
Overall, I would say, Chambor did a pretty decent job. I would have loved to see more fun colors in the range as most of them lean towards neutral. Though the price tag is a bit high, yet you get a good amount of the product and a real long wearing formula, so the price is justified.
