Bath & Body Works Caribbean Escape Nourishing Hand Cream Review

By now you all know my obsession with hand creams 😛 and especially with Bath & Body Works hand creams. 😀 . Well, I just can’t get over it 🙂 . My super dry hands love hand creams. So here is another one which I bought to protect my hands from the cold, harsh weather and indoor heating; to keep them soft and supple. Let us see how it fared on my smoothometer 😉 (if that is a word 😛 ).

My Experience with Bath & Body Works Caribbean Escape Nourishing Hand Cream:

The tube is absolutely lovely and attractive to look at. It’s a beautiful pink tube, which has beautiful tropical graphics and gives a total beachy feel. 😀 . The hand cream comes in the standard Bath and Body Works tube packing, with a flip open cap. The cap is sturdy and shuts with a click. The size of the tube is perfect for tossing it in your bag and makes the product travel friendly.

I love Bath & Body Works products daily because of their awesome and lovely fragrance. This is one of the reasons that I picked up so many of BBW hand creams. But, very sadly I have to say I am not at all a fan of this fragrance. This hand cream has a tropical scent, but I have to admit that this hand cream is a bit too fragrant for me. It has very strong citrus fragrance, which seems highly artificial and instead of making me relaxed and calm it gives me headache. 🙁 . I do not have any aversion to strong fragrances, but this one is not at all for me. Using very little quantity is still ok, but if just a little more quantity is used, it becomes intolerable for me 🙁 . My hubby too dislikes it. When I applied it and went near him he scrunched up his nose and instantly expressed his dislike 🙁 .

The cream is white in color and has perfect consistency. It is neither too thick nor runny, but it gets absorbed quickly and makes my hands very soft. Very little, pea-sized cream is needed per application 🙂 . The Shea butter and Vitamin E in the cream makes hands soft and smooth and doesn’t make them greasy. You can directly start working on your gadgets after applying the cream. 🙂

Cons of Bath & Body Works Caribbean Escape Nourishing Hand Cream:

• Fragrance is not too strong and artificial.
• Contains parabens.
• Does not heal dry and chapped hands.
• Not moisturizing enough to be used as night cream (for dry hands).
• This fragrance gives me a headache.

Would I recommend Bath & Body Works Caribbean Escape Nourishing Hand Cream?

I would recommend it to all the friends who like strong and loud scents, but it is not at all for people who prefer mild and light scents. I didn’t like this scent much, so I am not going to pick this one for sure.
