How are you all? I am back with a new review on a temporary hair color from a well known brand BBlunt. I always wanted to highlight my hair without harming it much, but always longed for a less damaging and temporary method. When I saw these temporary hair sprays, I thought of buying one and giving a shot. Today, I will share my experience with BBlunt Bronze One Night Stand Temporary Hair Colour, which I bought few days ago. So, let’s see how it performed.
Colour on your own terms. A cool new way to colour hair without having to commit permanently. Spray on to add a dramatic splash of colour to your day! Simply shampoo to wash off colour.
Specially created for Indian hair.
Shades Available : Green, Blue, Copper and Bronze.
How to Use:
Shake can well before use. Apply to dry styled hair. Isolate the section you want to colour. Hold can six inches away from the hair and spray evenly on the desired area. Leave to dry. Brush out excess if required. Wear protective gear to prevent colour from staining hands & clothes.
INR 300 for 37g/54 ml
The product comes in a matte black metal bottle with a spray nozzle and a plastic cap.
My Experience with BBlunt Bronze One Night Stand Temporary Hair Colour:
I bought this BBlunt Bronze One Night Stand Temporary Hair Colour just few days ago online. It’s a bronze shade with orange undertones and loads of shimmer. It comes in a black thick metal spray bottle with a spray nozzle and a plastic cover. There is nothing extraordinary about the packaging, it’s not very appealing either. But, works just fine. It smells like spirit or you can say, just like nail polish which I really don’t like.
The product is really difficult to use. If you want to color a small part of your hair, you will end up wasting too much product just for few strands as the nozzle dispenses a lot of color at a time. Also, it doesn’t show up easily on the hair, even though they claim that it is meant for Indian hair by which, I assume, they mean is dark hair. If you use a stencil design to style your hair, it works perfectly in that department. You need multiple sprays for the true color to show up on very dark hair.
I have used it 5 to 6 times and what I do is style my hair and spray the color on only the ends of my hair. It takes a good 7-9 minutes to dry up completely. Then, I brush off the excess color and in that step, half of the color disappears and hair becomes really dry. The color stains badly, so you have to clean your comb soon after you use it. And, after 1-2 hours, there remains no color at all – only visible shimmers which looks gross. The dryness disappears after one wash and the color too is not at all difficult to wash off. It is just a decent product nothing great about it.
How It Looks On My Hair:
Pros of BBlunt Bronze One Night Stand Temporary Hair Colour:
• Nice shades selection for Indian dark hair.
• Light weight.
• Does not irritate scalp.
• Travel friendly packaging.
Cons of BBlunt Bronze One Night Stand Temporary Hair Colour:
• Quantity seems little especially because there are chances of wastage.
• Stains badly.
• Makes hair dry after use.
• Contains too much shimmer.
• Smells weird.
• Packaging leads to product wastage.
• Color doesn’t show up on hair easily.
• Contains too much chemicals.
Would I Recommend BBlunt Bronze One Night Stand Temporary Hair Colour?
Yes! Go for it, but do not expect too much from it. It’s good enough for people who don’t want to permanently color their hair. There are four shades available and all of them will look good on dark hair.
Would I Repurchase BBlunt Bronze One Night Stand Temporary Hair Colour?
Yeah! 😀 It’s an average product with a pocket friendly price tag and with a decent performance. But, I will never purchase this particular shade again. Next shade I am going to try from this range is Blue.
So angels, that was the review of BBlunt Bronze One Night Stand Temporary Hair Colour. I hope this review was helpful and let me know if you have tried this yet or if you have any questions regarding the product.
