Becca Tigerlily Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush Review

Hello lovely ladies,

This review will be on the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush in the shade “Tigerlily.”
Becca Tigerlily Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush

Product Description:
A curated, colorful collection of six lustrous blushes to let cheeks glow with light.

What it does:  Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush features multi-dimensional, versatile blushes to create a subtle, shimmering flush. Especially designed to flatter all skin tones, this collection is inspired by the fan favorite Shimmering Skin Perfector—just the right balance of color and light. Wear them alone for subtle blushed luminosity, or as a blush topper layered on top of your favorite matte blush for an added pop of radiance. It is formulated without parabens, sulfates.

My Experience with Becca Tigerlily Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush:

Packaging:  Becca has this standard packaging for most of her products. They all look the same and the only way to differentiate between them is based on the size of the compact or reading the label underneath. I do wish now that there was some novelty and variety in her packaging. It is a rubberized compact with a good-sized mirror. This compact does attract dust, but it is quite sturdy and travel friendly.

Texture and Pigmentation:  These powder blushes are finely milled and smooth to touch. Even though, most, if not all the blushes in the “Luminous Blush” range contain shimmer, they do not feel gritty. They are quite easy to blend and have a semi-opaque coverage. They do not apply patchy and are buildable. These blushes are marketed as “can be used alone or as a blush topper.” They are quite pigmented on their own even if you decide not to layer them as blush toppers. You can get a fully opaque pigmentation in 2-3 layers.

Shade/Finish:  The shade “Tigerlily” is a gorgeous orange-coral shade. It’s a very summery shade, it will look stunning on medium-tan skin. On my light-medium skin, it gives the perfect amount of color to the cheeks while imparting a whole lot of warmth and it does not make me look like I have “unnaturally” orange cheeks. It also has a gorgeous golden sheen to it which catches the light and gives you that signature “Becca glow.” The shimmers are not too apparent on the skin unless you are under direct sunlight.
Peach blush

Even though they are quite luminous, it is not overwhelming, “disco ball-ish.” You can absolutely add a highlighter if you wish for more glow. The shimmers do not cling to dry patches nor do they accentuate pores.

Staying Power:  The staying power of this product is quite impressive. It stays on my skin for 7-8 hours with a slight amount of fading.
Swatch on hands

Overall, I am quite impressed with these new ranges of blushes by Becca. If you love the glowy effect of crème blushes, but have oily skin or simply do not like the tacky feel of them, this is an ideal product for you. It gives the most gorgeous glow to your skin, which you can accentuate on by topping it with a highlighter too. I was expecting them to be quite sheer because they are labeled as blush toppers, but the amazing pigmentation has impressed me.

I will also be reviewing the shade “Snapdragon” from this range pretty soon.

I highly recommend this product to all of you 🙂
