When people say mineral, it means natural makeup to me so I saw myself caught in this trend for mineral makeup a year back. I have tried several which I truly liked and now, let me share with you this review on a mineral blush I had for months already and since its shade is apt for summers, I’ve been using it a lot lately. The Maybelline Mineral Power Naturally Luminous Blush in True Peach.

My Experience with Maybelline Mineral Power Naturally Luminous Blush in True Peach:
Maybelline MineralPower Naturally Luminous Blushes are packaged in a round plastic pot which is transparent and it has black screw type lid. This is the typical mineral makeup jar you’ll see in stores. I love that it is transparent since it makes it easy for me to see how much is left. The blush itself is a finely milled powder which looks flat matte in the jar. It is not at all powdery as it blends well on skin, sitting on it perfectly, looking very natural. It does not have any scent to it which is good.
Each pot has 4 grams of product in it which will last me half a year to finish if used often since it is quite pigmented. I only need a little to achieve the color I want on my cheeks. I recommend one to tap off excess powder from the brush not to overdo it. And blend well. Aside from good pigmentation,it has good staying power too. I do not need to retouch often as this last on my cheeks for 5 hours. Also, I do not have the liking to bring this with me when I travel as it can be a bit messy. You know what happens with a loose powder blush which you have to dispense out of the jar by tapping some on the lid and dipping brush on in and tapping some off. So there, this blusher never made its way inside my travel vanity kit. Hihihi.
True Peach shade is true to its name. It is in a midtonepeach shade that would suit most skin tones. It is really pigmented that I only need a little every time. Though it looks matte on the jar it looks satin-y on cheeks. This does not have glitters but it does have this illuminating effect on skin. I love that this this appears on skin as if I had dusted little highlighter powder the apple of my cheeks but does not enlarge my pores.
