Hi guys! I’m back with another review. You girls know how Christmas is just around the corner, just a few weeks away. The weather is getting quite chilly but that shouldn’t prevent you from making your face glow. I noticed that in the winter time, my face looks really pale, despite how much make up I wear. Bronzer is the only thing that can make you glow. And trust me when I say this, a little can go a really long way. Anyway, I went to a mall near my house that has Sephora in it. I absolutely love going to Sephora but narrowing what products I want to buy seem hard. There are just so many items to pick from. I saw that a few of my favourite bloggers and youtubers recommended Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder. Which is why I decided to purchase it. I have to say it was a bit expensive, close to thirty dollars here in Canada. I hate spending a lot of money on makeup, especially those items that you’ve never tried before. But I took a chance with the Hoola bronzer because I heard so many great things about it.
Right when I got home, I immediately opened it up. The packaging is very cute, it comes with a shader brush that you can use to rub your bronzer into your skin.
Now let’s get into what we’ve all been waiting for, the pros and cons of the item.
Pros of Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder
– Benefit itself is such a great company. Now that Sephora is in India, I’d definitely recommend those of you who live there to go out and purchase this item – or any benefit item for that matter. I haven’t come across a better company in a while. Benefit delivers everything. Just make sure you test out the products at Sephora before you actually buy them. I wouldn’t recommend anyone purchasing an item without using a tester before hand. It’ll just be a really big waste of your money, and in most places, you can not return used make up. So please be aware of what item you select before spending a lot of your money on it.
– The product itself is very sufficient. If you’re looking for that perfect bronzer, this is for you. You get the gorgeous glow and it slims your face down a lot in pictures, and your face even looks a bit slimmer in person if you know how to apply the product evenly.
– The brush it comes with. One of the best things about this product is the fact it comes with the brush, so you won’t have to spend an extra twenty or thirty dollars on a proper brush. If you’re not a professional makeup artist like me, and just like to play around with makeup and wear it on a daily basis, then this brush is absolutely perfect for you. Just use it near your cheek bones, nose, forehead and chin (those are the places you’re supposed to apply it, if you’d like a perfect glow and to look a bit slim).
Cons of Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder
The only true con I can think of for this product would have to be the price. Again, for a bronzer spending thirty dollars is just a bit too much for me. But I guess it is because Benefit is such a well known brand, kind of like Chanel, so it has to be marked at that price. It is affordable than other brands at Sephora, so if you look at it that way, and also consider how much product you receive in the packaging, then the price no longer is an issue.
