Packaging:

The packaging is very similar to MAC eye shadows. It comes in a glossy black eye shadow pan with a transparent flip cap, which makes it very easy to locate and is also very sturdy. The shade name is mentioned on the back side. There is no mirror attached, and no brush provided. The ingredients list is mentioned on the backside as well.

My Experience with Bharat and Dorris Eye Shadow in Harmony:

The shade “Harmony” is a beautiful peachy nude eyeshadow. It is a light color, and works great for applying all over the lids. It has satin finish and is not at all shimmery, just has subtle sheen. This color will work great for light to medium skin tones; it instantly brightens up my eyelids in a very subtle way. I have been looking for such an eyeshadow since long, and my search ends here. I have very slight pigmentation on my lids, which mostly we all have as the area around eyes is very thin, and to even that out, I use an eye shadow for every day. It makes my eyelids look better, yet very natural and is totally appropriate for office wear.

Before this, I was using “Blockbuster” by Essence and it was completely matte. Although it worked quite well, matte eye shadows can sometimes look flat and chalky. So, this one fits the bill perfectly, it looks like skin and not at all shimmery or over the top. It looks like I have applied almost nothing, but it completely evens out my eyelids and is very natural looking. The texture is quite smooth and is not very soft, there is slight fallout. But even after layering, it does not look chalky at all. Blending it is easy, as it is slightly sheer color.

The pigmentation is good and a single swipe gives good color payoff. But this particular color is on the sheer side, so it is best to layer it, to make it last long. It works well with brush as well as fingers, I mostly apply it with fingers to make the application quick, and have worn it many times without a base as well. The pigmentation in both ways is quite good, but using a primer underneath intensifies the color and finish. In the swatches, I have swiped it twice each, on the left side alone and on right side over a primer.

On my oily eyelids, it stayed for 4 hours after which it starts to crease, which is really impressive as not many eye shadows stay on me for long without a primer. Using a primer, makes it last for 7 hours after which there is creasing and need for touchups.  If you have normal to dry eyelids, then you can expect it to last longer.

Pros of Bharat and Dorris Eye Shadow in Harmony:

• Not at all shimmery, has a satin finish.

• Very little fallout.
• Blends out quite easily.
• Stays on for long with a primer.

Cons of Bharat and Dorris Eye Shadow in Harmony:

• Without a primer, it starts creasing in 4 hours on me.
• This shade is slightly on the sheer side, and will not work for very pigmented eyelids.
• Availability is limited.

Do I Recommend Bharat and Dorris Eye Shadow Harmony?

If you get a chance, then go for it, they have a variety of shades. I definitely recommend this shade it is very wearable.
