MAC Ricepaper Eyeshadow Review, Swatch

MAC describes Ricepaper as Peachy gold with shimmer (Frost).
I loovvvvvvvvvveee MAC Ricepaper eyeshadow. It is a frosty cream-gold color with slight peachy undertones. I have struggled to find a perfect highlight for my browbone. Some have been too frosty , some have been too light, while some have been too matte. I mostly apply some compact powder on my browbone, which apparently just makes my browbone area look a bit clear but does not add much dimension.
Rice paper is a frosty peachy gold eyeshadow. It is neither shimmery nor does it have over the top sheen to it. The peachy undertones makes it perfect for my NC 35 skintone. It blends beautifully with my skintone and add just the right amount of highlight. Even during the day time it does not look OTT.
Ricepaper also makes a nice overall lid color. I mostly use it for inner corners and browbone. These days it’s like I just HAVE to have that hint of this eyeshadow on my eyes. The color itself is quite sheer, which makes it gorgeous for highlighting. I mean you don’t want a blob of color on your brow bone area. Do you? Ricepaper just blends with the skin and leaves a hint of glow behind. But when you use it as a lid color, it is totally buildable. Blends smoothly, stays on all day long and has no fall outs.
Highly recommend this for Indian Skintones. Definitely check it out.

yeah bhumika you can pretty much use it as a highlighter. It blends beautifully with the Indian skin tones. 🙂

Robbie, I am still trying out mac eyeshadows so I havent used many so far. But I love twinks, amberlight, soft brown and rice paper so far. 🙂

i went to buy this and got myself NYLON!!!! now i feel i should ve stuck to ricepaper only 🙁 itssss soooo pretty and Nylon is soooo white as a highlighter for me 🙁
suma yeah nylon is a little on the lighter side. :(( I think it’s the earthy tones of rice paper that make sit so great for Indian skin tones.
i hardly wear eyeshadows but would like to actually. I started getting interested in eyeliners only after I became a member of IMBB 🙂 now its a must for me 🙂 so with eyshadows this also seems like a must have..are there any dupes for this color in another brand?
