Bite Beauty Champagne Agave Lip Mask Review

I have heard people rave about Bite Beauty lip products for years now and honestly, I like the shade range and formula, but cannot stand the scent of the lip products. Bite Agave Mask is one of the best-selling products from Bite Beauty and I wanted to try it since I am always hunting out for good moisturizing lip balm or lip treatments.

My Experience with Bite Beauty Champagne Agave Lip Mask:

Bite Agave Lip Mask comes housed in a squeezy tube. It basically looks like a mini toothpaste. The basic lip mask (clear) has full grey tube, but “Champagne” one has a champagne-colored rim at the end. The name of the brand and product are printed on the front of the tube and surprisingly, there is no shade name mentioned on the tube.

Honestly, after using agave lip mask, I don’t get the hype. I still prefer Clarins Lip Oil over this as a night treatment. Clarins lip oil is very hydrating and doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on the lips whereas agave lip mask feels very tacky and sticky on the lips. It also feels a bit heavy.

Agave lip mask has a very thick consistency which spreads easily on the lips. “Champagne” has gold shimmer particles which settle into fine lines of my lips. I cannot wear it in the day time since this feels heavy and tacky on the lips. Even as a lip treatment at night, Agave lip mask didn’t do anything for my lips. The next morning, I couldn’t feel any hydration on my lips and it was almost gone except for the particles that settled into the fine lines.
