Bobbi Brown is one of my top favorite luxury brands. Today, I will be reviewing their luxe lipstick in the shade “Brocade.” So, let us see how this shade fared for me.

My Experience with Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color Brocade:
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a sleek golden lipstick tube with Bobbi brown writing on the side. The lipstick tube has a little weight to it. The bottom of the tube specifies the name “Brocade” and the top of the tube has a Bobbi Brown emblem. The lipstick comes in black cardboard outer packaging with ingredient list mentioned. Overall, the packaging is very luxurious and travel friendly.
Shade and Finish: “Brocade” is described as a bright purple plum and it is indeed a beautiful rich warm dark plum lipstick. The lipstick is perfect fall shade. This shade will suit all skin tones. Brocade is very comfortable to wear. The finish is very creamy and glossy.
Texture and Application: The texture of this lipstick is very creamy and glossy. The lipstick has got intense pigmentation. The lipstick feels very light weight on the lips. The lipstick is infused with vitamin C and E. It gives a lot of nourishment to my dry lips. The lipstick is very easy to apply. I use a lip liner and then fill in the lipstick with the help of a lip brush. Due to its creamy texture, the lipstick does smear outside the lips very easily. The lipstick gives a plump fuller look to my lips.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The lipstick is super pigmented and super opaque. It gives a full coverage even if the lips are pigmented.
Staying Power: The staying power is really good with lipstick. It stays on my lips for a good 3 to 4 hours; however, it will start fading easily if you eat meals or drink water. The lipstick leaves a pink tint once it fades.
Overall, I am really happy with this lipstick. The lipstick can be easily removed with a makeup remover.
