Hope you all are having a great summer. Today, I am going to review one of the tastiest lip butters.
All of us know that Body Shop has introduced the “Chocomania” range. This range was particularly introduced for the Valentine’s Day. I purchased a few products from this range and Chocomania Lip Butter is one amongst the things that I bought. When I had gone to the TBS, the SA was very friendly. She insisted that I buy this lip butter mainly because its very moisturizing and second because its damn tasty. 😛
It’s a small tub of dark brown chocolate. Its easy to carry around. The lip balm is of light cream color.
Rs. 300/- (don’t remember the exact cost).
I googled for its ingredient list just to check what all it contains and how it is useful for us. It contains the following:
- Organic Beeswax – it moisturizes and helps condition the skin.
- Cocoa Butter – it’s an excellent moisturizer and leaves the skin super soft.
This lip balm melts on the lips. It smells awesome. I feel like licking it away. It contains real cocoa butter and has got a chocolate flavor. I had never used a chocolate-flavoured lip balm. Since this was my first one, I totally fell in love with this. It has got a great moisturizing effect. It can work in winter season too. Cocoa butter is specifically used to keep the skin soft and that is exactly what this lip butter does. It keeps the lips hydrated, soft and supple. If it is used after exfoliating lips, it is awesome as it keeps lips soft for the whole day without making the lips chapped.
On my lips, it stays for around two hours as I continuously licked it bit by bit. It is so yummy. It has got a buttery texture and is very creamy. Lips stay super soft till 4-5 hours. It leaves a glossy finish and hence can be applied above the lipstick. I tried it applying below a lip liner and yes it worked fine. My lip liner didn’t smudge plus it didn’t give me a dry feeling. The best point I liked about it was when I applied it at night before sleeping, my lips were super soft in the morning. Although, I applied a bit more in the night, it stayed for a longer time as I didn’t lick it when I was sleeping. 😛
The only drawback in this lip butter is that it doesn’t provide any sun protection. There is no SPF mentioned on the lip butter. Other than this, I just love this lip balm.
