The Body Shop Spiced Vanilla Body Butter Review
Hi,
I am back with another body butter review. Fall is almost here and since I tend to start getting drier skin around this time, I have ditched the light summer lotions for body butters now. I love the “Spiced Vanilla” range, even if it’s a one-time release around December. I stocked up on a lot of body butters this past season and now I get to use them all. The Body Shop Spiced Vanilla Body Butter comes in the usual tub packaging with a pretty gold and yellow label pattern. The smell is the best part about this – it has a hint of cinnamon/cloves along with a rich vanilla scent.
Price:
Rs. 825, if I’m not mistaken for a quantity of 200 ml 6.7 fl oz (192 g).
The texture is rich and just right – not too sloppy, nor too thick. I love the decadent golden-brown packaging too, and during winter this is one of the best body butters you can use to pamper yourself!
Here’s a look at the ingredients – slightly scary, considering TBS is natural and all.
The fragrance is not overpowering but lingers on through the day. It makes my skin well moisturized, although sometimes it isn’t enough since I have extremely dry skin. This is how the body butter looks – it’s smooth and glides onto skin.
I loved this body butter, and would surely try it once again once I am done with it. I love it almost as much as the lotion, see, I have already almost finished it 😛
Finally, here is my roundup of the product:
Pros of The Body Shop Spiced Vanilla Body Butter:
- Delicious fragrance.
- Provides very good moisturization.
- Fragrance stays on through the day, but is not too overpowering.
Cons of The Body Shop Spiced Vanilla Body Butter:
- The tub packaging may seem unhygienic for some.
- The price.
Other than the price, personally, I don’t really see any cons. A great product for the winters! I would definitely repurchase if there isn’t something better.

I saw some stores with Spiced Vanilla even now, but I doubt you’d want to buy them since they’re from last year and it’s already almost October 🙂 I guess it’ll be back around Christmas time.
