Today, I am going to review yet another lovely body butter from Ulta. How I wish ULTA was in India! I would have grabbed all the lovely fragrances. They have an amazing range of bath and body products.

Today, I am reviewing the Ulta Moisture Intense Body Butter in Fresh Lilac.

Ingredients:

Water (Aqua), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Caprylic/Capric/Myristic/Stearic Triglyceride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Fragrance, Aminomethyl Propanol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Carbomer, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Flour, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Steareth-2, Tocopherol, Ethylhexyglycerin, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Phenoxyethanol.

Packaging:

The packaging is quite convenient and hygienic too. It comes in a tube with a flip open lid which helps in controlling the amount of product you squeeze out.

Product Description:

This super intensive moisturizing butter by Ulta combines shea butter and sweet almond oil to provide long-term moisture to skin. Use all over to help soften, heal and tone even the driest of skin or as a spot treatment to rough patches such as elbows and knees. Apply liberally to skin wherever it needs intense hydration and to lightly fragrance with Fresh Lilac: a flirty blend of fresh lilacs, spring blossoms and bright fruits.

My Take on Ulta Fresh Lilac Moisture Intense Body Butter:

This moisturizer moisturises the skin well without leaving any oil or greasiness behind. The consistency is quite thick, but it spreads smoothly and evenly on the skin. It feels extremely light on the skin. Normally, body butters feel a bit heavy and some of them feel too heavy in humid climate, but this one works like a dream.

Its fragrance lingers on the body for around 3 – 4 hours. I simply love this fragrance. When I applied this the other day, the whole room started smelling good. Even a little quantity is enough for its fragrance to grip you.

Although it moisturizes the skin quite well, I am not sure if it works for overly dry skin or during winters. It works exactly like the one I reviewed here a few months ago (Ulta Moisture Intense Body Butter – Lavender Woods); just that the fragrance of “Fresh Lilac” lingers for hours together and that’s such a boon for a fragrance loving person like me.

Pros of Ulta Fresh Lilac Moisture Intense Body Butter:

Light and non greasy.
Pleasant fragrance that lingers on the skin for hours together.
Moisturises the skin well.
A wide variety of fragrances to choose from.

Cons of Ulta Fresh Lilac Moisture Intense Body Butter:

A little expensive for the quantity.
It isn’t available in India.

Of course, I will and also try the other fragrances from this range. I so wish Ulta was available in India or at least if they shipped to India, it would have been great.
