My Experience with The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Body Wash:
Like rest of the TBS body washes, The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Body Wash comes in a plastic bottle with a flip flop cap. The quality of the bottle is good and it’s safe to carry along on travels. Also, the bottle dispenses a good amount of product without any effort. This body wash contains tea tree oil and like their entire “Tea Tree” range, this product also has a strong fragrance of tea tree. I like the scent of tea tree, but most of us prefer fresh fragrances in our bath and body products, so that’s a disappointment.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Body Wash has a nice, light green, gel-like texture that glides on the skin super easily and lathers perfectly on the body. I only need a coin-sized amount of the product to cover up my entire body and it’s enough to create lots of lather. It works best with a loofah and I mostly use loofah with this product. I can fully enjoy my bath and most amazingly, it’s so easy to clean. There is no wastage of time and water. Also, this body wash doesn’t leave any slipperiness or stickiness on the skin and provides that squeaky clean feeling on my skin.
From a tea tree product, we always expect deep cleaning and anti-bacterial effect, and yes, this body wash clears out dirt and impurities from skin and leaves me super fresh. It effectively gets rid of greasiness and sweat, perfect for summer. It doesn’t leave skin dry. It does provide smooth, soft texture.
I have normal to dry body skin, and I always prefer using a lotion after taking a shower and I do that with this body wash as well to keep my skin moisturized and hydrated. During summer, it’s good for all skin types, but it will not be the best bet for dry skin in winters.
We all know tea tree oil helps to treat acne and other skin issues and this body wash actually helps with these issues. After using The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Body Wash for two months, I have noticed that there is considerable reduction in bacne. It has also taken care of inflammation of the skin. There are no new breakouts.
I love the way how it quickly makes my skin clean, fresh and smooth and also the freshness lasts for long on body. Though TBS body washes are a bit expensive than other body washes, but its’ worth every penny.
