We all already know about The Body Shop’s Tea Tree range, and that how good it is for oily skin. Since I have an oily and acne prone skin, I was looking out for a product that could clear out all the blemishes. I got to know that The Body Shop has launched this new product and got excited to give it a try. I took the 4-week challenge and now I am ready to review this ‘Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution’. Let’s see how it worked for me.

Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution is a lightweight, pre-serum concentrate that combats blemishes and improves the overall condition of skin. After 4 weeks, skin looks and feels purified, clearer, smoother, healthier, clarified, mattified and soothed with reduced redness and imperfections. This daily skin avenger battles blemishes with its easily absorbing key ingredient, pure tea tree oil.
How to Use:
Gentle enough to use daily as part of your morning routine.
After cleansing, toning and preparing skin with an essence lotion, apply all over the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Follow with eye cream and moisturizer.
For oily skin, can be used in place of the “serum” stage of a skincare regimen.
My Experience with The Body Shop Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution:
Packaging:
It comes in a green glass bottle with a black cap. This cap is actually a glass dropper and the top is made of rubber. This well-designed dropper feels quite handy and provides the perfect amount of the serum. It also helps control the amount of the product getting dispensed. It has a nice white outer packaging that carries all the information about this serum. I feel this bottle is really a nice and attractive one. But since it is a glass bottle, it’s a little difficult to carry.
Texture:
The product has a clear, watery consistency that glides smoothly on the face. It feels extremely light on the skin. The texture is not oily or sticky. It’s just a smooth, quick-absorbing serum that gets absorbed within a second. It doesn’t feel greasy at all on my oily skin, which is really impressive. I absolutely love its texture. It is good enough to be used during summer too. The name already describes that it contains tea tree oil, hence it has a very strong, super fresh fragrance of tea tree oil. It doesn’t feel overpowering, hence I love this smell.
Quality and How I Use it:
I always love to maintain a healthy skin care routine, so I prefer to use this serum twice a day. In my morning skincare routine, I generally apply it after washing my face and then follow up with my moisturizer or daily makeup. During night time, I follow a proper cleansing and toning routine and then apply this serum followed by a night cream. So these are my basic steps to apply this product and I only need 3-4 drops each time to cover my whole face.
In the morning, it acts as a nice base for my makeup. It instantly provides a smooth, soft and perfectly matte face with less visible pores. Overall, it makes my makeup application appear flawless too. At nighttime, it acts as a very soothing and fresh serum that also makes my skin soft and smooth. It reduces that oily and greasy feeling from the face and instantly mattifies my skin. Besides that, it also provides a decent amount of hydration to my oily skin and makes my skin appear healthy. Still I can’t say that it offers great moisturizing properties for extremely dry skin. If you have dry-very dry skin type, do not skip your moisturiser; even I use a moisturiser after using this serum.
How it Works:
This anti-imperfection daily solution is specially designed to provide a spotless, blemish-free and perfectly clear skin. Last month I was facing a very bad bout of acne on my face and that is when I actually started using this. I took the 4-week challenge and I could notice some changes in my skin after than time period. It helped clear out my skin and complexion and definitely made my skin appear smoother and fresher. It worked on my spots and now my skin appears quite flawless. Most of my pimple marks have reduced too.
All the old spots, marks, a few blemishes look totally faded now and the condition of my skin has improved a lot. My skin’s texture has now become smoother and it appears quite bright and fresh. Overall, it repairs my skin and makes it beautifully radiant. Since this is a tea tree product, I was expecting some sort of pimple control but it does not really control or reduce pimples. It only works on acne and pimple spots. I am still getting pimples but, thankfully, they now do not leave any spot behind.
Overall:
I am happy with my even toned, improved skin. Also, I like the way it mattifies my skin and makes it smooth. It takes some time to show the perfect results, but after using it for one month, I can see the goodness on my skin. Also, this product comes in a 50ml bottle which will last me a long time. So, I feel this is worth a try.

Yes to both. I love this product and it does its job nicely. If you have oily to normal skin and want an oil-free serum then go for this one. Don’t buy it to control your pimples, buy it for a spotless skin.
