Hi, I am just new to IMBB and would this is my first review, hope you like it.

After Rati Di’s review on Clarins White plus Serum + Cleanser Review, I thought of writing a review on Clarins newly launched first-ever BB cream in SPF 40 to meet the unique needs of Asian women. Since all of us know how BB creams are capturing market nowadays, maximum cosmetic companies are coming up with the BB creams. I have tried Maybelline’s BB Cream but was not so exciting but the Clarins BB Cream is just so awesome, read on to find out how.

I received this newly launched BB cream sample from the Clarins shop during my recent visit when I went to purchase a serum and night cream for myself.
It has received CLEO Whitening Awards 2013.

What product claims?

Specially designed for Asian skin, this BB cream is the first step in skin care, combining a perfect complexion with triple-protection against UV radiation, pollution and oxidative stress.
Makes for ideal and very natural-looking coverage, with any redness and blemishes disappearing immediately.

Ingredients: With organic blackcurrant buds to diminish skin redness induced by the stress of urban life. High-protection UVA/UVB 100% mineral to protect against the harmful effects of sunlight, including premature skin ageing. Extract of cantaloupe melon for protection against oxidative stress. An anti-pollution complex exclusive to Clarins to protect against the harmful effects of pollution.

Price: $74 for 30ml

How to Use: After moisturizing, take a small amount of BB cream between your palms. Gently press onto forehead, cheeks, sides of nose and chin to revitalize, even and protect—with a “no make-up” effect. Follow with makeup, if desired or only a compact will do wonders. I usually use compact and mascara and a little lip gloss and all set for the day.

My experience with Clarins BB Cream:

After the first application it felt thick, as you can see in the images below. But when you start to blend it, blends beautifully.

My skin tone looks even and healthy. The cream is pretty thick but once it is absorbed by the skin, it gives a natural matte finish and actually felt and looked like I wasn’t wearing makeup. I finished my look with some concealer and mascara and was set for the day!

• Very costly compared to other BB creams in the market
• Not made for oily skin
• Availability, since it is new you can only buy it through Clarins shops and official site

Will I recommend/ repurchase Clarins BB Cream?

Yes I do recommend, and I will purchase the bigger version for my daily use, after all who don’t like the perfect look with only just one application.

IMBB Rating: 4.5 I really want to give it 5 as my complexion stays fresh and dewy all day but the price is very high.
