My Experience with Clinique Twilight Nude Long Last Lipstick :

These were bought last year because I wanted to experiment with nudes but were sadly forgotten, hence were sitting in my vanity since last summers. Then came the winters and I didn’t feel like wearing light shades, they got sidelined. Anyways, better late than never…

Let us get know this one:

Shade– Clinique describes it as Heathered violet. This can be best described as n*de with mauve-ish undertones. A soft berry shade. It seems a bit shimmery but nothing over the top. These slight shimmers make the shade come alive otherwise, it would have been quiet dull shade.

Texture is creamy, smooth, very light. Feels feathery on the lips. It glides on effortlessly without pulling.It does not dry out the lips.

Coverage is moderate.Depending on the pigmentation on your lips, this can go from sheer to medium I’d say.

Pigmentation– One swipe deposits about 80% of the color so it can be built up to little more than that. On my pigmented lips, I need two swipes to bring the shade I want.

Staying power– Well, there is nothing extraordinary about the lasting power and since this is not a deep shade, staying power is just average. I actually want to ask Clinique people – either they forgot to add the long lasting ingredient or they should have called this range moisturizing lipsticks! 😛

This is a color which will suit almost all skin tones and it will look different on different skin tones. It could be a perfect shade if you are looking for something subtle or barely-there lip color for office. It is so versatile that it can blend with any dress, as this leans towards n*de so it can always be used when you want attention to your eyes or to your dress.

• Does not bleed, feather, or dry.
• Will suit almost all skin tones.
• Would be MLBB shade for a lot of girls out there.
• Quite moisturizing.
• Very versatile color, will go with anytime any day look.

What I don’t like Clinique Twilight Nude Long Last Lipstick :

Price is high, but other than that – nothing, this is a great addition to my lipsticks.
