I was searching for a perfect red lip liner for RiRi woo and found a few nice red liners at Mac but didn’t have the heart to spend that much on a liner, so while looking for alternatives I found the Colorbar Definer Lip Liner Clear Red.

Packaging:

The packaging is signature Colorbar in a glossy cardboard box and the pencil inside that. I was shocked to know the price…I mean it’s pretty high for a lip liner but was glad to see a very long pencil with an inbuilt sharpener on the cap.

My Experience with Colorbar Definer Lip Liner Clear Red:

I have been on the lookout for a good matching lip pencil for wearing the RiRi Woo, since it is such a bright and bold shade even the negligible error is unforgiving. I first went to Mac and they had lovely vibrant red liners that completely matched with the lipstick but I was not in the mood to spend such an amount because I had no intentions to wear it all over my lip, I just wanted the liner for the apt purpose. I did some search online and found that Bourjois has a decent one and that was pretty economical too but it was out of stock everywhere I went. I came across this while window shopping and went ahead to swatch and see…oh my my!! It’s the perfect red for that lipstick. The texture is creamy and glides on like a dream so girls who like to wear vivid red you could get this. Though I haven’t worn it all over the lip but as a lip liner it works very well. I was a hesitant to buy this for the price but I am glad to have got this.

The staying power is very good and just fades a little, for complete removal you have to use a makeup remover. Now coming to the sharpening part I am not very comfortable as it leads to product wastage I am more fond of retractable pencils. There are seven shades in this range and I am pretty sure you’ll definitely get the one you are looking for. This shade is universally flattering to a wide range of skin tones so fair and dusky beauties and get this without and doubts. I am loving the liner and might get a pink one to pair up with one of my pink lippies. I am very impressed with the texture and the pigmentation of this liner.
