It’s hard to keep up with ColourPop since they release a new product every week. They have also started selling their products in Sephora. ColourPop Amber crystal collection is part of their product launch in Sephora. This collection consists of setting spray, liquid highlighter and lip balm. Today, I will be reviewing ColourPop Amber Crystal Setting Spray from the collection. So, let’s see how this setting spray fared for me.

The Amber Crystal Setting Spray sets makeup into place for all-day wear, and contains powerful antioxidant ingredients like green and white tea, mango, and Vitamin C perfect for normal to oily skin.
My Experience with ColourPop Amber Crystal Setting Spray:
The packaging of ColourPop Amber Crystal collection is beautiful. The ColourPop Amber Crystal Setting Spray comes in a small and sturdy transparent glass bottle. The setting spray comes housed in a cardboard box with beautiful orange amber crystal graphic design in the front. The back of the box mentions the ingredient list and product details. The setting spray has got a good spray nozzle. However the spray nozzle doesn’t give a fine mist like my Milani setting spray. As the brand has mentioned, you do need to spray the setting spray from an arm length distance to get a fine application. I apply the spray in a zig zag motion. However, if you are not careful with the application, then this spray can soak up your face and make your makeup look patchy. I don’t think this setting spray is travel friendly since the bottle is made out of glass.
ColourPop Amber Crystal Setting Spray is supposed to contain real crushed amber crystals in them. Amber crystals emit a soothing and calming energy. It helps to balance your emotions, clear your mind and release any negative energy. I really like this new crystal concept. Who wouldn’t want calming energy in their makeup? This spray is excellent for people with normal to oily skin. It sets my makeup to a satiny matte finish. This spray gels my makeup together and makes it look cohesive. You just need to spray this setting spray and it will make your makeup look natural. The setting spray has peachy-mango fruity fragrance to it. The fragrance doesn’t linger for a long time.
I usually wear makeup around 8 hours and the spray did make my makeup last for that amount of time. The setting spray prolongs the wear of my makeup. However, after the 5-hour mark, my face becomes a bit oily and I do need to blot the extra oil away. This spray doesn’t dry my face or make my makeup flake. The setting spray sets within a few seconds.
Overall, I really love the ColourPop amber crystal setting spray. It gives me a nice satiny matte finish and makes my makeup last for a good amount of time.
