ColourPop has a “crystal collection” in their range. This crystal collection consists of crystals like amethyst, rose quartz, aquamarine etc. As part of their Sephora launch, they have released the “Amber crystal” collection. Today, I will be reviewing amber crystal liquid highlighter. So, let’s see how this product fared for me.

Each product in the Amber Crystal Bundle was created with real crushed Amber crystals. Amber crystals emit a soothing, light energy that calms and energizes simultaneously. Often referred to as “Liquid Sunshine,” this crystal helps to balance your emotions, clear your mind, and release any negative energy. The Amber Crystal Liquid Highlighter is a lightweight formula loaded with crystals and pearls to give your skin an opalescent, radiant glow.
Application Tips:
For a crystal-infused glow, use 1 to 2 pumps and apply onto the face using your fingers or a brush. Mix me with your foundation or moisturizer for an all-over radiant look!
My Experience with ColourPop Amber Crystal Liquid Highlighter:
Packaging: The packaging of the ColourPop Amber Crystal Liquid Highlighter is super sleek. The highlighter comes in a transparent, sturdy, glass bottle with a twist-up nozzle to dispense the product. The nozzle is covered with a transparent plastic cap. The liquid highlighter comes housed in a cardboard box with beautiful orange amber crystal graphic design in the front. The back of the box specifies the ingredient list and product details. Since the liquid highlighter comes in a glass bottle, I don’t feel you can take it on your travel trips. Overall, the packaging is beautiful and sturdy but not very travel friendly.
Texture and Application: The amber crystal highlighter has a smooth and creamy texture to it. This highlighter is infused with real crushed amber crystals. Amber crystals emits a soothing and calming energy. It helps to balance your emotions, clear your mind and release any negative energy. The highlighter is silky smooth to touch. You can mix this highlighter into your foundation to give it an overall dewy fresh glow or you can just apply this highlighter on the high points of your face and blend it with a Beauty Blender. This highlighter blends away easily.
Shade and Finish: Amber crystal highlighter is a beautiful peachy champagne gold highlighter. The highlighter contains ultra-fine pearls and luminescent gold pigments which is not too shimmery or glittery. The glitter is finely milled. This highlighter gives a beautiful sheen to the skin. It does not emphasise any pores or fine lines on my skin. It can be used on tops of the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and corner of the eyes to give a naturally luminous skin. There is no duochrome effect. It has a super lightweight and blend able formula that imparts a smooth effect and feels like nothing on the skin. This shade of highlighter will suit Indian skin tone perfectly.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The highlighter is pigmented. You do have to build it up if you want an intense glow. If your goal is to get a natural subtle glow then this is perfect. This highlighter is perfect to wear for your everyday use.
Staying Power: The staying power is good. It stays on for around 6 hours without the need to reapply.
Overall, I am really loving this ColourPop Amber crystal highlighter.
