ColourPop recently released new satin lip shades as part of their 2018 spring collection. I love ColourPop ultra satin lip formula. They are one of the most comfortable matte liquid lipsticks. I purchased a couple of shades since I love bright colours. Today, I have the shade “Come Up” for all of you.

My Experience with ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip Come Up:
Packaging: The packaging is a standard clear tube with holographic writing on the side – ColourPop Ultra Satin. The bottom of the tube specifies the name “Come Up.” The tube has a silver cap. The applicator is a standard doe foot type. The product comes in a pink cardboard box with the name of the product and the ingredients list.
Shade and Finish: “Come Up” is described as a “true peach” color and it is indeed a very beautiful warm peach shade. This shade will suit light to medium skin tones. It a nice MLBB shade, that’s perfect for everyday wear. When you first apply the lipstick, it will be satiny finishl however, it turns matte as the time passes by. You can also bloat it with paper if you need an instant matte lip look.
Texture and Application: The texture of this liquid lipstick is bit mousse-y and liquid-y. The main difference between ultra-matte and ultra-satin formula is that the ultra satin lipsticks do not dry completely matte. It dries velvety matte within a few minutes once applied on the lips, so if there are any errors during application, you can easily correct them. The applicator allows me to get precise application. There is a chemical fragrance to the lipstick, which personally doesn’t bother me. Another major difference between the ultra-matte and ultra-satin lipsticks is that the latter does not give me kiss-proof, budge-proof finish. This lipstick does transfer a lot; however, it is very long lasting. It is advisable to exfoliate your lips to achieve a flawless finish. This ultra-satin lipstick doesn’t dry your lips and imparts a smooth finish. It’s the most comfortable liquid lipstick.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The lipstick is super pigmented and super opaque. It gives a full coverage even if the lips are pigmented.
Staying Power: The staying power is really good with this lipstick. It stays on for around 6 hours without the need to reapply. However, it will start to fade if you eat oily meals.
Overall, I am really happy with the color payoff, texture, and longevity of this lipstick. This can be taken off the lips with an oil-based makeup remover.
