I will be introducing you to my winter skin care favorites this season. The brand is extremely well known for its skin care products, and has many famous and effective products in its range. The English Honey and Peach Blossom range was introduced last year, and has already garnered a fan following. Unlike some other brands, the products do not smell artificial at all, in fact it smells exactly as it is supposed to.
Our lightweight body lotion is formulated with conditioning peach blossom extract and moisturising shea butter and honey for soft and silky smooth skin. Apply anytime for lightweight moisture and conditioning. Leaves skin delicately scented. Moisturising honey and shea butter. Fragrance: Natural extract of wild flower honey’s warm, rich scent combined with peach blossom’s velvet tones.
16 GBP for 250 ml.
My Experience with Crabtree and Evelyn English Honey and Peach Blossom Body Lotion:
The first thing which attracted me to this body lotion was the fragrance and do not get me wrong here. I was not a fan of the fragrance at the first whiff, but it sort of grew upon me with time, and I went ahead and bought three products from this range, and days of doodling with the sample.
Packaging: The body lotion comes in a similar plastic bottle jar packaging, as the rest of its contemporaries. The bottle has a narrow mouth, with a cap, and a small outlet hole. I would definitely have preferred a pump style packaging for this.
The cream is white in color and has a fragrance very reminiscent of honey with a light touch of peaches in it. The fragrance may be too sweet for some, however, as I mentioned before, it tends to grow upon you with time. The fragrance smells very natural indeed. The smell does not stay on my skin for a very long time.
Consistency: The lotion is thick, creamy; in fact, not at all lotion like. It spreads easily though and feels very lightweight on skin. It absorbs quickly and does not leave any greasy or slimy feel on the skin.
Performance: The lotion performs very well. I have used it during winters and now during spring, and do not have any complaints till now. It moisturises the skin and does not leave any dry patches for 8-10 hours. I find that I have to apply it twice a day for effective moisturisation. People with very dry skin may however find it a bit lacking in very harsh winters. Now that the days are becoming a bit warm, I still do not find it uncomfortable to wear.
Pros of Crabtree and Evelyn English Honey and Peach Blossom Body Lotion:
- Fragrance is fresh and natural.
- Thick creamy in consistency, but still feels lightweight.
- Spreads and absorbs easily.
- Keeps my skin moisturised for 8-10 hours.
- Packaging is sturdy.
- Does not feel slimy or greasy.
- Not uncomfortable during the warm days.
Cons of Crabtree and Evelyn English Honey and Peach Blossom Body Lotion:
- Fragrance may be too sweet for some; however, it does tend to grow on you.
- Would have preferred a pump packaging.
- Very dry skin people may feel the moisturization this body lotion provides to be inaccurate.
- Limited availability in India.
- Presence of silicones.

I would request you to first take a whiff of the product before buying. The quality is superb, it is only the fragrance which needs your approval before purchase.
