This perfume was a love at first sight. I fell so in love with the golden shiny bottle that I had to own it. Just displaying it on the vanity adds so much richness to the whole room. It definitely stands out no matter where it is placed. One more reason to purchase it is the fact that it is unisex; I thought even my husband could use it. But I get so many compliments whenever I use it, so I decided to keep it for myself.

My Experience with Creed Millesime Imperial Eau De Parfum:
Creed Millesime Imperial Eau De Parfum comes packaged in a glass bottle which is completely golden in colour. The body and the cap are totally golden. The top of the cap has the ‘Creed’ symbol engraved. The perfume bottle is a little curved, which makes it look even more elegant. The cap closes tightly, so it is very secure. The outer packaging is also very good.
It comes in a cardboard box with a leaflet where some information about the brand has been provided. The packaging is very typical of Creed and, of course, looks classy. In this fragrance, the top notes are of bergamot, green mandarin and lemon. After some time one can smell the middle note – iris. The base notes are of sandalwood, amber and musk.
Each perfume works slightly different for different people. This perfume, in particular, works great on me. It’s important to spray it on my skin so that the chemistry results in a wonderful fragrance. This perfume reminds me of oceans and beaches as the opening fragrance is aquatic.
At the very beginning, I did not like it but now have started to like it. It has a mix of citrus due to the lemon top note. I love using this perfume during vacations or when I need one. This reminds me of all the great time spent on the beaches. The middle and base notes are fruity and perfect for summer days. The overall fragrance is not strong, it is quite mild.
One can also layer it with other fragrances for a different feel. It works and blends well with other fruity or lemony fragrances. I love the musk in any fragrance and I guess the musk in this perfume is what makes me love it. The longevity is quite good. It stays for 6 hours or so when indoors and slightly less when outdoors especially during warm sweaty days.
The sillage is moderate. The more I wear and use this perfume the more I fall in love with it. Last but not least, I recently learnt that Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana is a cheaper dupe. I wish I knew it earlier.
