Ayur Herbal Coconut Shampoo
Hey everyone 🙂

I am loving writing for IMBB more than anything else nowadays. I live in Delhi and I think most of us Delhiites love to go to IITF in short Trade Fair. I too went there and picked up some products from there. I picked shampoos, one of them was Soya Protein Shampoo from Ayur (that I am gonna review very soon) and another one a Coconut Shampoo. So let’s find how this shampoo fared for me..
Product Description:Â A shampoo that boasts a delicious coconut fragrance, gently cleanses dry hair. It has nourishing & hydrating properties to condition and add volume to the hair. It improves hair growth while keeping check on untimely graying. It makes hair soft and manageable.

Price: Rs. 130 for 500 Gms.
Ingredients and Claims:
Usage: Twice or thrice a week, according to the condition of your hair.
Consistency: It is pearl white in color with a slightly runny consistency.
My Experience with Ayur Herbal Coconut Shampoo:
I picked this shampoo in an instant because of the mention of coconuts, because I have never tried a shampoo before that has coconuts in it.
Well talking about the packaging, it comes in a huge opaque plastic bottle with brown colored flip flop cap which is quite sturdy.
I used a coin sized amount of shampoo for my shoulder length hair. It was actually easy to rinse this off. Some shampoos are a bit sticky and it takes a good amount of water to rinse them off your hair, but it was not the case with this one.
I love the smell of coconuts and I was expecting a nice coconut smell, but I was disappointed. When you put coconuts on flame for too long, and they burn. This shampoo smelled like that, but it was not overpowering at all.
When I washed my hair it did a good job on cleaning my hair properly. There was no residue left, but I felt my hair a little dry after using it so had to use a conditioner.
Pros of Ayur Herbal Coconut Shampoo:
- Travel friendly packaging
- It’s a herbal shampoo
- It cleanses the scalp well
- Provides a bit of volume to limp hair
- Although I expected a coconuty fragrance
Cons of Ayur Herbal Coconut Shampoo
- It did nothing to lock in moisture
- You need to use a conditioner
- It has parabens
IMBB Rating: 3/ 5.
Verdict: If you want a squeaky clean scalp you can try it otherwise if you skip it, you won’t miss it. (It rhymed) 😛
