Hello bombshells 😉
Today I will be reviewing a shampoo. It’s called Enliven Coconut and vanilla shampoo. Doesn’t it sound delicious? 😉 The most integral part of hair care routine is a shampoo, no shampoo no hair care. So it’s utmost important to choose the right one for you. So here I go to review this one.

My Take on Enliven Coconut and Vanilla Shampoo:
I am currently using L’Oreal Total Repair 5 and its conditioner and I love it. I came across enliven online. It seemed pretty new, though I had seen the other products from this brand reviewed on IMBB. So I thought of giving it a try, with a thought that if I don’t like it, I will pass it on to my brother 😛 my hair is almost straight and normal scalp. I first oil my hair and then leave it on for 2-3 hours after which I wash with shampoo followed by using a conditioner usually of the same product range.
This was the first time I have used this product. I had low hopes, as I had read other reviews about It’s body wash range and they didn’t turn out well. I had to reach office on time and didn’t oil my hair last night, so thought today is the perfect day to use this one. The shampoo has a unique smell of coconut and hints of vanilla. I applied it generously on my scalp and hair, it lathered decently. But in comparison to other shampoos this one requires more quantity. While washing my hair, I felt my scalp and hair strands squeaky clean, I was very surprised. After wash and wiping with towel, I applied little silk and shine. Generally when I shampoo without oil, my hair looks little rough and fizzy. But this time, it appeared straight and manageable. I loved the effects of this product. It’s actually nice. Also leaves behind a mild fragrance of vanilla. I quite liked it.
Pros of Enliven Coconut and Vanilla Shampoo:
• Hair felt clean and easy.
• Nice packaging, transparent bottle.
• Transparent bottle makes it easy to know how much product is left.
• Pretty affordable.
• Lovely smell, reminded me of my childhood (scented pens) 😛
• Perfect for shampoo without oiling the scalp.
• Hair appeared straight.
Cons of Enliven Coconut and Vanilla Shampoo:
• Doesn’t lather much, disappointing.
• Not available in stores, have only seen online.
• Contains lot of chemicals.
• Had to struggle a lot to take out the oil of my scalp (if you apply oil before using this)
You can give it a try. But do not oil your hair, before using this. Good for travel purpose.
Will I Repurchase Enliven Coconut and Vanilla Shampoo?
No, I will stick to my regular shampoo and conditioner. But I will finish this one happily.
