I love sachet masks. Recently, I ran out of them and decided to pick up one and spotted the Rose Otto range and picked up some from them. Today’s review is all about Dr Organic Rose Otto Face Mask. So read on to know more.

Product Description:
Bioactive Organic Rose Otto Oil is a rich hydrating and moisturizing essential oil with renowned skin toning properties. We combine this fragrant wonder oil with a proprietary blend of bioactive, natural and organic ingredients including mineral rich Kaolin (China Clay). This nutrient rich clay based formulation helps to draw oil from the pores while ridding the skins surface of dead cells and impurities. It also helps to stimulate the circulation deep into the capillaries to leave the skin toned and purified.

Directions:
Use twice weekly as part of your cleansing regime. Apply the face mask evenly over whole face avoiding eyes and lips. Relax for 10 minutes and allow drying, and then removing with warm water or a damp flannel.

My Experience with Dr Organic Rose Otto Face Mask:

The mask comes in a cardboard packaging. All the information you need is there on the package. The mask comes in a white tube packaging with a white flip cap. The design is similar to other products from the ‘Rose Otto’ range. The flip cap is not very tight and doesn’t close with a click. But, it closes well and there is no leakage. The product is travel-friendly and the sleek packaging makes it easy to carry around.

The mask gets dispensed very well from the tube. Since it contains clay it may dry around the nozzle, so I usually clean up the area after usage. The mask is white, rich and creamy. It is white in color. The consistency is more like a cream than a mask. It smells delicious of roses and very similar to the other one available in the range.

You can use the mask with your hand or a brush. I prefer a brush for even and easy application. Let it dry while you relax for around 10-15 minutes and then wash off with water or a damp towel. Water creates a mess and it is difficult to remove the dried mask, so I recommend using a damp towel. Later on, wash off the residue with water.

The product dries up pretty fast; however, it doesn’t stretch the skin like the traditional Kaolin masks. After washing off, the skin feels very soft and smooth. The skin feels so supple. The mask does remove the dead skin and fills the skin with moisture. The mask is said to be hydrating, but I find it a bit drying and a moisturizer is a must.

The product doesn’t cause any breakouts nor does it irritate the skin. The product cleanses the skin and adds radiance to it. The product also dries out the pimples, which is great! The product does control oiliness on the skin. It makes the skin toned. It also rejuvenates the skin and makes it beautiful.

The product is free from parabens, SLS and artificial colors or preservatives. The mask is great but it is a normal kaolin mask. I have used inexpensive ones from Balea and they offered the same results, so I might not repurchase this again. But I would use it again and again till I have it.
