Today, I am back with a review on an amazing product that I all think you should try. I unfortunately have acne scarring and hyper pigmentation, so I wanted to find a product that would help with these issues. I was recommended the Dr. Organic vitamin E pure oil complex, so I decided to give it a go. To know more about my thoughts on this product, please keep on reading!
My Take on Dr Organic Vitamin E Pure Oil Complex:
This Vitamin E oil comes in a 50 ml glass bottle, which may seem like a small amount, but actually, I have found that this oil lasts me ages because not much is needed for the entire face. That being said, if you also want to apply this on your body, then understandably, it wouldn’t last as long as more oil would be needed. The bottle I am currently using was purchased about five months ago and I still have about a quarter of the oil left. The size of this bottle is small and compact and although it is made of glass, it is very sturdy and so is perfect for travelling.
The bottle comes with a small pipette like applicator and you need to shake the bottle to disperse small droplets of oil; this is a great way to prevent any wastage. The smell of this oil is very subtle but fragrant and floral.
It must be noted that this oil consists of an oil complex, so it isn’t pure vitamin e oil, rather it contains a whole melange of different oils including sunflower and jojoba oil. All these oils have different benefits and work wonders on the skin.
I like to apply this oil on at night, after I’ve cleansed and toned. I don’t just use one or two drops, I like to drench my face in this! I apply about 5-6 drops on my hand and then I apply and massage the oil onto my face, including under -my eyes, all over my hyperpigmentation scars and also on my forehead.
As for results, I have noticed that my scars have definitely lightened up. They are still visible and haven’t all gone away, but they aren’t as dark as they were. This oil doesn’t give immediate or fast results, you must be patient and apply this on daily but the results will be worth it. I have found that some oils can aggravate my sensitive skin or it just doesn’t feel moisturising enough, but this oil has given me none of those issues. My skin feels smooth after use and also supple and moisturised.
Some oils can also make you appear oily looking but this oil absorbs into the skin so well that my skin does not appear greasy. Sometimes when I’m lazy and don’t wear my SPF, I wear this oil out because it just feels so great on my skin and keeps it moisturised the entire day. Just to note, although this is great for dry skin, it isn’t moisturising enough for areas of skin where I have eczema, so perhaps if you do have eczema, it would be best to layer something on top of the oil to keep fully moisturised. As for the price, this retails at £8.99 and considering that the ingredients are organic and of good quality, this is a great price. Also, this brand doesn’t test on animals or contain any animal products so it is 100% vegan and animal cruelty free!
