My Experience with Dr. Organic Dead Sea Mineral Skin Lotion:
I am reviewing yet another Dr. Organic skincare product today. As you may have guessed already, I use a lot of their products. This is yet another skin lotion from their Bioactive Skincare Organic range. This Dead Sea Mineral lotion is a little different in terms of texture and effect than the Aloe Vera and Argan Oil lotions from the brand that I have reviewed. For one, it is relatively light in texture. Like the other two lotions (Moroccan Argan Oil and Aloe Vera) and it sinks into the skin very easily and leaves no greasy residue.
It has a mild and pleasant fragrance, but it does not linger on the skin for too long. This works very well as a daytime moisturizer as it is lightweight. It hydrates the skin well, but it’s not super rich or moisturizing like the argan oil lotion. This can also be used on the face, but I won’t recommend it if you have oily or acne-prone skin because this is not a non-comedogenic product.
The tube packaging is lightweight and handy for travel purposes.
Like all Dr Organic products, this lotion is packed with effective natural ingredients (dead sea mineral salt, aloe vera leaf juice, coconut oil, and much more) that work to restore and replenish the skin. It is also free of parabens, sulphates and other harsh chemical ingredients. When you apply it, it has a refreshing and mildly cooling effect on the skin. It is ideal for everyday use, especially if you’re on the lookout for a lightweight lotion. It is not intensely hydrating, so it might be a better pick for the summer season. If you have very dry skin, then I would recommend that you try a more hydrating and nourishing lotion like the argan oil one.
Pros of Dr. Organic Dead Sea Mineral Skin Lotion:
- Lightweight moisturising lotion.
- Sinks into the skin easily.
- Leaves the skin feeling soft and replenished.
- Does not leave any greasy residue.
- Packed with effective natural ingredients.
- Mild and pleasant fragrance.
- Free of harsh chemicals, parabens, sulphates, etc.
- Tube packaging is lightweight.
- Good value for money.
- Ideal for everyday use all over the body.
Cons of Dr. Organic Dead Sea Mineral Skin Lotion:
- Not intensely hydrating, especially if you have very dry skin.
- May not be suitable for use on the face but it is a good body lotion.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Dr. Organic Dead Sea Mineral Skin Lotion?
No, I will opt for the more hydrating variants from the brand, as I have relatively dry skin.
