Today I’m going to share with you some easy & result oriented weight loss tips. More than weight loss, these tips are about healthy food choices & their overall impact on our digestive system.


• If you want to lose weight fast, you should eat a diet high in protein. A high protein diet can help build muscle, lose weight, and optimize body composition. Also, do you know that High protein diets can also reduce obsessive thoughts about food by 60% 🙂
Vegetarians can eat raw paneer to fulfill their protein needs, as it is pure form of protein option available to vegetarians.

• Avoid eating protein in dinner as they sit in your stomach making digestion difficult. If you can’t avoid it altogether, just make sure you go for lean and small portions. Always make sure to eat lentils during day time instead of night.


• No two types of concentrated protein should be consumed together at a meal. Also, don’t eat curd with lentils. Similarly, don’t combine cheese, paneer, curd &lentils.

• At a time eat only one thing-dal, subzi or curd.

• Curd/yoghurt is good for digestion so try to have it at least once every day. Since it is not advisable to eat curd at night and you are not allowed to eat it with pulses in lunch, you can consume it either at 11 am in the morning with your mid-morning fruit or in the evening but before 6:30.

• It is very important to eat salad as part of healthy diet. Always make sure to eat salad 15 minutes before every meal.

• Include 6-7 Almonds and 1 or 2 Walnuts in your diet. Almonds & Walnuts are known to squelch your appetite, which would eventually complement your weight-loss efforts

• Drink a glass of hot (not warm) water half an hour after every meal. Warm water will help break down food faster, making them easier for you to digest.

• Drink Zeera (cumin seed) water first thing in the morning as it is a proven fact jeera or cumin seeds can aid your digestion significantly and antioxidants present in the seeds can flush out the toxic materials from your body.

• Eat three kali mirch in the morning empty stomach with Luke warm water, as black pepper reduces bloating and aids in digestion.

• Never skip meal as skipping meals leads to a slowed metabolism and certain weight gain as well.

• Keep dinner as light as possible; you can have it as simple as like one roti with little subzi and please no curd and lentils for dinner at all.

• Try to keep your dinner salt free at least twice a week. Also, during your monthly periods, two days before & two days after periods try to eat salt free dinner & keep salt consumption low overall as well, as it helps to get rid of water retention.

• Having fruit platter as a dinner every third day is a very good option if you are trying to shed weight real Fast.

• Avoid rice at night. You can have brown rice occasionally but that too should be consumed only during daytime.

• Drink lots and lots of water. Try to make your total liquid consumption per day to at least 15 glasses, which include a serving of milk, tea etc as well.

• Try to drink two cups of green tea daily, one in the mid morning and another one at evening.

• Drink plain hot milk with only little or no sugar, half an hour before bed time.

• Totally and completely avoid soda/aerated drinks (mainly diet Soda) as these are the worst things you can put into your system and its better to stay away from them.

    Nikhat-its alright either way but I would suggest you to have kali meerch first and then zeera water after 10-15 mins.
