This review will be on the Elizabeth and James Nirvana White Dry Shampoo.
The first fine fragrance dry shampoo that refreshes, volumizes, and texturizes while perfuming hair with the addictive fragrance of Nirvana White.
What it does:
This fine fragrance dry shampoo combines hair-refreshing technology with the captivating, luxurious fragrance of Nirvana White. The multitasking water-free micro powder is enriched with natural rice starch to absorb oils instantly while adding body and texture to all hair types, leaving hair feeling fresh and clean without any residue. Lightly perfumed with Nirvana White’s captivating blend of delicate peony, chic muguet, and tender musk, Nirvana White Dry Shampoo is fortified with style-extending proteins, rose root extract for anti-oxidant protection, and pro-vitamin B to nourish the hair for strength, shine, and bounce. Ashley and Mary-Kate wanted the signature fragrance for Elizabeth and James to embody the same sense of duality inherent to their partnership and the brand. The result was not one, but two blends—distinctly different, but undeniably connected. Ashley and Mary-Kate’s perfectly tousled tresses have been coveted by fashionistas and hair enthusiasts for years.
$28. Recently, it started selling as travel size for $14
My Experience with Elizabeth and James Nirvana White Dry Shampoo:
Elizabeth and James Nirvana is a set of 2 perfumes Black and White created by the Olsen twins. I am a huge fan of the fragrance hence having that scent as a hair fragrance/dry shampoo intrigued me. I bought the “White” variant.
Packaging: Comes in a sturdy white bottle. The nozzle delivers a very fine mist of dry shampoo and coats a good amount of area when sprayed from a distance. The dry shampoo does have a beige color to it. Though for ladies with blonde hair, this color may not even be visible for them. For dark-haired women, you do need to do a light massage and comb through to get rid of the white cast on the hair. With a few strokes of the hair brush, it does go away.
This is an amazing dry shampoo in terms of showing results. It eliminates all the greasiness and oil from the roots of my hair and helps me extend my hairstyle for a day or two longer. It gives amazing body and volume to hair from the root hence I use this for that purpose too as I have extremely fine and limp hair. It gives me the perfect “tousled hair” look.
I do have dry hair and this dry shampoo did not make my hair even more dry when used in moderation. It did not cause my hair to get frizzy or straw like. The best quality about the dry shampoo is the amazing scent. I am a huge fan of the Nirvana perfume and own a travel size of it that I always keep in my purse, so the same scent for my hair is the best thing ever.
The “Niravana White Scent” consists of notes of Peony, Muguet, and Tender Musk. The white variant is a very fresh, slightly floral yet clean, perfect daytime scent, whereas the “Black” one is perfect for night time. I love how it leaves my hair lightly scented, it’s not overwhelming. The scent does linger for a couple of hours on me; in the meantime, I can get light whiffs of the scent as my hair brushes on my face. I can’t help but keep sniffing my hair and the same is true for my husband 😛
The results are really long lasting too. My hair is grease free and voluminous for 2 days after I use this.
Overall, if you are a fan of dry shampoos, this is an absolute must have. It gives amazing results and gives tons of volume without leaving the hair dry, and I could not pass up the fantastic scent too.
I highly recommend this!
