I am a big fan of Elizabeth Arden cosmetics, and I am yet to come across a dud! I have not used their skincare but I am not much interested in that too.

I was casually swatching the products at the counter and was checking out the gloss shades when I saw this baby. At that moment I realized that I don’t own a single pink gloss in my kit :(. I do have Strawberry in Revlon colorburst but it is not Pink! I loved the shade of this gloss so much that I decided to get one. At that moment, I was not sure about the quality of Elizabeth Arden glosses so I restrained myself from buying more shades although I liked some more shades as well.

Well, coming back to the review, let me tell you how well this gloss performs.

What Elizabeth Arden Claims:
Glides over lipstick for brilliant shine or smoothes on alone for glamorous, glossy lips.

My experience with High Shine Lip Gloss in 19 Pink Pout

Packaging: The packaging is sturdy and sleek. It has black lid but the body is transparent, and the color is visible. Even if you own a number of these, spotting one would not be a problem. It is square like Revlon Colorburst gloss but lot sleeker. I like the way Gold strikes a great combination with Pink.

Color: The color is a cute Candy pink color which looks beautiful on lips. On fairer girls, this may look a bit neonish but on medium skintones, this comes out as a pretty pink color or rather a light candy color.

Lasting power: The lasting power of this gloss is easily 4-5 hours with light meals in between. Even if the glossiness fades, the color is still there on my lips. I am happy with the staying power of this gloss.

Texture: Here comes my favorite part. This gloss is as moisturizing as an Okayish balm. My lips are very sensitive and hate any product which is not good in moisture department. But this gloss is perfect for my lips! I never felt the need to apply lipbalm after this. This glides on perfectly on lips and the wand takes out sufficient product to cover both the lips.

Price: Around 600 INR.
In all,
I am fairly happy with this lipgloss. I did not expect much from this and bought it just for the sake of color. But I was surprised with the quality and staying power. Sometimes, trying new brands is not always bad! I will definitely try out some other shades from this brand and other cosmetics too!

Although the price is on a higher side, but the quality this gloss delivers is very good and I would suggest you to at least try it out in the store. You would not be disappointed with this.
