Essence 24h Hand Moisture Balm Review

Essence 24h Hand Moisture Balm

Hey girls,

So recently I made a trip to the drugstore and found this product just sitting on the shelf at the essence counter, I thought to myself that I’ve never seen this hand balm before and if it’s new and I must try it. So, here’s how I feel about this hand balm.

My take on the Essence 24h Hand Moisture Balm:

This product claims that it provides non-stop hydration for your hands with a 24 hour moisturizing effect. It does leave my hand feeling soft and moisturised for 30 minutes but after sometime, I’ll have to reapply this product as my hands will start feeling dry again. It doesn’t provide non-stop hydration with that 24 hour effect.

The yoghurt and green tea does smoothens and regenerate the dry skin immediately but the effect isn’t long lasting. At the end of the day, you hands still end up lacking moisture. I’ve been using this for a month or so now and I still have dry hands.

It takes some effort to blend it into the hands as the cream is quite thin and while blending it does feel a little oily but not sticky. After blending it in, it is absorbed quickly and doesn’t leave a oily film but it leaves your hand feeling a little balmy and soft, almost like when you rub baby powder on your hands. It is a very light-weight hand cream with a very smooth texture and after application it does have a slight cooling effect that lasts for a few seconds or so. Also, after using this for a month, I’ve not got any rashes, bumps or weird skin allergies for this product.

The packaging is ideal for travelling and the cap is actually tight and very sturdy, the annoying as well as the good thing about the cap is that you have to double tap it for the cap to close and it is very secure so you do not have to worry about having a messy bag at the end. It is really affordable and it’s a pretty good deal as I only had to pay very little for 2.53fl.oz of product.
