My Experience with Essence Draw The Line Instant Colour Lip Liner 08 Eternal Beauty:

The product comes in a twist-up self-sharpening plastic case. The color of the body denotes the shade of the lip liner. The black cap closes with a click and due to its sleek design, the product is completely travel-friendly. The product comes unsealed and some of them are already used. So, you need to open each one of them to get an unswatched one. For the price I pay, I do not have any issues. The product contains a self-sharpener built in it. But, I do not see pointy edges every time. Overall, the package is pretty good.

Shade: “Eternal beauty” is an another n*de shade from this range. The closest match is 07 Undress My lips. There is very light difference between these two. The product has a light pink shade and it beautifully compliments any skin tone. But, I feel it would look amazing on fairer tones than darker skin tones. It gives a matte finish. The pigmentation is beautiful and with just a single sweep it gives you a desired effect.

The lip liner is extremely soft and with a little pressure, it can easily break. I have already broken this one while I was applying. The texture is very creamy and glides beautifully on the lips. You can easily cover the corners of the lips with ease. The product can be used to define the outline of the lips and also to add color to it. There is also a lipstick from the same range to match the lip liner. The product doesn’t tag or pull the lips while application. However, I noticed that if your lips are dry, it kind of settles into the dryness and it accentuates the dry flakes on the lips. The product is not moisturizing. So, you need to apply it to well exfoliated and moisturized lips.

The product stays on for a good 5 hours on the lips before it starts fading. You can add some lip balm and it helps to extend the color on the lips. The product is waterproof and also is nontransferable. It doesn’t bleed and stays put on the lips and I absolutely love this property. The product doesn’t also wash off immediately with a water based makeup remover. You need to sweep at least 2-3 times to get rid of the product which I feel is pretty good! As I prefer long lasting products. Overall, the product is very promising and Essence has scored a goal with this one. So summing up.
