Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask Aloe Review

Hello all,

I bought some masks from this 0.2 mm range of sheet masks from Etude House. I have already reviewed the “Pearl” variant here. Let’s check out how “Aloe” sheet mask fared for me.

My Experience with Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask Aloe:

This sheet mask comes in a cute packaging. It has mint and dark green colored packaging. The packaging is super sleek and I love the light pastel colours. It’s easy to travel with and very convenient to use.

This range from Etude House is called “0.2 mm Air therapy mask” and it is the thinnest cotton mask I’ve used. I have used quite a few Korean sheet mask brands like The Face Shop, Innisfree, Missha, Hollika Hollika, Skin Food, but none of them are this thin. I sometimes fear that this might tear or rip, but it doesn’t. The mask feels like a fermented coconut sheet mask because it is super translucent and once you put on the mask, it doesn’t look like other normal cotton sheet masks that you see.

Although the mask is super thin, it has enough serum in it. I like the fact that it’s neither dripping wet nor dry. It has perfect amount of liquid in it and being a super thin mask, I thought this one would dry up quickly, but it doesn’t. It takes 20 minutes to dry, just like your regular sheet mask. Also, the serum in this range of mask is pretty sticky. It’s not watery thin, but is a bit thick and sticky. Not too sticky to cause irritation, but as compared to other sheet masks, it is a bit goopy.

Aloe vera is known for its soothing properties and after a day out in the sun, I needed a calming and soothing mask. This sheet calmed my skin down and helped cool my skin. I used this mask after letting it chill in the fridge for 15-20 minutes, so it felt amazing on my skin. This mask does what it claims. It did help with calming and cooling my skin. It also made my skin feel relaxed.

Apart from that, it added lots of moisture back into my skin, like all other sheet masks do. My skin felt hydrated and looked better. My skin felt soft, supple and smooth. I like this about sheet masks that they provide instant results though they don’t give long-lasting results. My skin feels nourished and healthy after using this mask. It has a pleasant fragrance that doesn’t linger much.
