I have a big stack of eye shadows, but I would not wear them often because I used to think a) eyeshadow is something to be worn only on special occasions and b) it might look over the top during day time use. But, I don’t care about it anymore! Because I spend buck loads on eye shadows and I love to flaunt them every day. However, I choose the shade as per the look I am going for and I keep it a little subtle for daily look. Here is the review of one such shade that can be used on all the occasions.

My Experience with Faces Canada FES283 Mono Eyeshadow:
I am not into mono eye shadows anymore because in the same money I can usually buy a palette that gives more options and is also more handy. Hence, I don’t hoard them anymore. This product is one of the few I have in my single shadows stash.
Packaging: The eyeshadow comes in a sturdy, black plastic case with a see through cover. There is a tin pan inside this packaging that is stuck to the case via a magnetic sheet which is a rarity in such packaging, but is a plus point since glue usually wears off with time and the pan becomes tacky.
Texture: This eyeshadow comes in powdered form. It is powdery and smooth in texture, but with minimal fall out and gives a good color intensity with just a couple of swipes.
Shade and Pigmentation: The deep cherry shade of this eyeshadow looks pretty on all skin tones and provides good pigmentation even without a primer underneath and is easily buildable. Even on my oily lids, it does not crease much. But, it gives a brilliant color and awesome stay power if one uses a white colored eyeliner underneath.
Shimmer and Shine: No shimmer and shine; it is a matte finish eye shadow and can be used daily or one can put a glitter shadow on top of it.
Wear Time: If used with a primer or with a white eyeliner underneath, the eyeshadow stays the entire day on the eyelids.
Conclusion: This a a good quality eyeshadow that imparts a beautiful shadow. It complements all the looks and all the skintones very well.
