Gap So Pink Body Mist Review

Today, I will review a Body Mist from the brand Gap. I purchased it on impulse as it looked cute and sale was on 😉 , but now I am glad I found it!

Claims/Product Details:

A Flirty Blend of Citrus and Flowers – so fresh, so bright, so pink.
A Light Fragrance to spray all over.

Do not use near hear or flame.
Avoid spraying in eyes.

Price:

$12.50 for 7 FL OZ/ 200 ml. (I got it on sale at 30% off).
It is available on online stores in India for about Rs. 1200.

My Experience with Gap So Pink Body Mist:

I like Gap for it’s sweatshirts, track pants, pullovers and jackets. I also like the fact that their products are mostly on sale and have good performance to price ratio. While I was shopping at Gap for some winter wear, I was waiting in a long queue at the billing counter where I spotted their body mists and perfumes. Since, a sale was on and these were on 30% off, I quickly grabbed two products to try before my turn for payment. Gap has a range of body mists in beautiful colours like purple, peach, pink etc…. I thought So Pink would be a fresh and feminine one, so I picked it up.

It looks pretty much like it’s name So Pink, in a transparent bottle with a pinkish tint. It smells like grapefruit, with a floral twist. Also, it is very light and floral with a dash of citrus. I find it perfect for days when you don’t want to go around smelling like something obvious.

I prefer to opt for fresher fragrances and this is one of them. It smells beautiful, feminine and just perfect for my taste. Although, the smell is a bit strong at first, it goes down quite a bit to a lovely subtle scent. It is so light, feminine and fresh; not overpowering and headache inducing. I wear it every day in summers and receive many compliments.

The only issue I have with this mist is it’s staying power. The smell lasts only for up to 2 hours, but then it is a body mist and not a perfume; so, I don’t mind reapplying throughout the day in summers.
Now, for the packaging, it is pretty, elegant and robust. It comes in a beautiful transparent plastic bottle with a transparent spray nozzle and cap. This enables us to see the light pink colour of the mist. The packaging is not travel friendly, as it tends to leak a bit. The cap is not very tight, so I am afraid to carry it in my purse.

Overall, it’s a great summer scent, as it has grapefruit fragrance, which is very fresh and pleasant.

Pros of Gap So Pink Body Mist:

• Fresh floral-citrusy fragrance.
• Clean scent.
• Not overpowering.
• Easily absorbable.
• Pretty looking.
• Light and feminine scent.

Cons of Gap So Pink Body Mist:

• Expensive at $12.50, so better to pick up during sale.
• Expensive in India (available online at around INR 1200).
• Less staying power.
• Packaging is not travel friendly.

Would I recommend Gap So Pink Body Mist?

Yes, surely but after finishing all other body mists from Bath & Body Works that I have. If you like subtle floral citrusy smells and if you are looking for a lightweight every day body mist; and don’t mind re-applying, then Gap So Pink body mist is perfect for you.
