My Experience with Garnier Light Complete White Speed Brightening Scrub:
The scrub comes in a sleek and easy plastic squeeze tube. The tube is yellow in color and has similar detailing that’s common to other products in this range. The tube has a bright yellow flip top cap, which shuts securely making an audible click sound and ensures that it’s a travel-friendly pack. It does not occupy much space in my travel kit. All product-related information is printed on the back of the tube. Overall, as far as the packaging is considered, it is basic and travel friendly. I don’t have any complaints about it at all.
The facial scrub has a typical citrus fragrance which is common to all products in the Garnier Light Complete range. The smell is nice and refreshing as I love citrus scents. It is mild enough, is not bothersome. The scrub is pearly white in colour. The texture is creamy. It glides effortlessly on the skin and feels creamy smooth while scrubbing. It almost looks like a cleansing foam. It does not contain any big exfoliating granules. The exfoliating beads are too tiny and sparse. I personally do not like such tiny exfoliating beads as I feel they are not capable of providing adequate exfoliation to my skin. And, I am not an everyday scrub person; I scrub only once or may be twice a week, because scrubbing more than that tends to open my facial pores, as a result, my skin breaks out like hell. This facial scrub totally changed my perception. It has been almost a month now that I have been using this and I have not faced any skin issues so far.
The small granules in this scrub are good enough to provide proper exfoliation to the skin. It has helped to remove dead skin cells and also has made my skin softer and smoother. It is mild on my sensitive skin and does not cause any allergies or redness. It is not capable of removing blackheads easily with one or two uses, but regular usage helps to clear clogged pores. It creates a rich lather that helps to make the exfoliating session smooth and non abrasive. Such tiny granules are good for people with acne to get mild exfoliation without further irritating the skin. Since, this is a brightening scrub, it does brightens up dull skin instantly and makes it appear bright and lively. It does not really lighten my skin tone one shade lighter (as per the claims), but that is okay for me as I really did not expect any miraculous results.
Another thing, which I loved about this facial scrub, is that it does not snatch oil from my skin and provides good exfoliation without making it dry. My skin does not feel stretchy and it does not cause any discomfort. The scrub washes off easily and does not leave any residue behind. Overall, this is a nice product. If you love to scrub your skin everyday, it a good choice and even if you don’t scrub everyday it will work like that also.
