My Experience with Giorgio Armani Rouge d’Armani Sheers Lipstick Vita 501, Orange Mutation 302
I have used just one lipstick from Giorgio Armani before. So when I saw these at the Bangkok Airport, I thought I’d give these a try. Plus the colors were sooooo beautiful, I could not resist.
Vita 501 is a stunning coral pink color. It’s a great every day color. If you are very fair it may look like a bright watermelon pink against your skintone.
Orange Mutation 302 is a very pretty bright popsicle orange color.
These are sheer lipsticks but probably these are one of the most pigmented ‘sheer’ lipsticks I have come across. They go on the lips creamy feeling like a rich nourishing lip balm. With one swipe you get a sheer color and with 2-3 swipes these build up to a gorgeous full on opaque lipsticks. They look creamy and glossy on lips and make your lips look smoother and plumper. If you are not a gloss lover but still like that shine and feel on glossiness on your lips, these lipsticks are your answer.
The packaging is gorgeous. Glossy black with magnetic closure and sort of oval cylindrical shape. It’s just too pretty!!! The logos are embossed on both the lipstick and the casing. Totally gives that extra prettiness to the overall packaging.
The lipsticks are extremely hydrating and moisturising and they keep the lips feeling comfortable throughout.
I was really not expecting these lipsticks to be long staying. But these stay on my lips for more than 6 hours and still I can some color on lips. They pretty much survive a full meal and lots of snacks.
These lipsticks build up nicely. sometimes when you layer up sheer lipsticks they tend to bunch up especially on the centre of the lips. These absolutely have no such issues. These layer up evenly and as you layer these up, the intensity of the color gets stronger.
These don’t have any weird taste or smell to them. These don’t smudge or feather. Sometimes I pop these on top of my regular lipsticks as well for extra hydration.
Honestly, I did not expect to like these lipsticks as much since I love my matte lipsticks a lot. But I have been reaching for these a lot especially for regular day outs. These are an all season lipsticks. While the colors are so apt for the sunny summer days, the full on hydration makes them such a luxury wear for the dry winter months.
