I recently picked up perfumes from Giorgio Beverly Hills. My cousin, who was then in the USA, used to buy these often for her mom and I loved going to my aunt’s house only to spray these on! My mom had one too but after some time, the brand disappeared among the giants. I recently saw these and it instantly related to my childhood. Today’s review is all about Giorgio Beverly Hills Giorgio G Eau de Parfum. Read on to know more!

My Experience with Giorgio Beverly Hills Giorgio G Eau de Parfum:
The EDP comes in a sealed purple cardboard box. Inside the box, the EDP bottle sits perfectly. The EDP comes in a glass bottle with a glass cap. The design of the bottle is so beautiful and I love it. It has a silver nozzle which almost looks like aluminum and looks a bit cheap but it sprays the perfume effectively. The cap closes with a click. The all-glass bottle is a bit bulky and I wouldn’t usually carry this on trips.
The perfume is purple in color but doesn’t cause any stains. The notes of the perfume are as follows:
Top notes: orchid, pineapple, melon, red tea, grapefruit, water lily, and hyacinth.
Heart notes: magnolia, jasmine, white peach, ginger, and lily.
Base notes: Assam wood, sandalwood, vetiver, ambergris, and resin.
The smell of the EDP is strong. It smells floral and stays for a long period of time. The perfume opens with a burst of orchid and more of peony roses. I noticed that there is no mention of roses but it has a top note of rose. The product settles to a bit floral-fruity and the base is dominated by sandalwood and vetiver.
The smell is pretty strong but I feel that the mixture of the perfume is not correct. I feel the smell of the fragrance is very confused. The stronger scents might not be a choice of many. I have friends who got a headache sitting next to me when I wore this perfume. The perfume smell also feels very artificial and is nothing like what I remember. The product is very feminine and is suitable for any age. But, I feel the perfume could be a good choice for women who are really in their middle age and who still love to be smelt powdery. It is definitely not for the today’s working women who are strong and willing to experiment. The product can be classified as a perfect summery/sunshine product.
The product does calm down a bit to a milder fragrance but it takes around 20-30 minutes. The EDP, however, lasts for 5-7 hours on my skin and I love it for this. None of the fragrances except Giorgio Armani Si Perfume Oil have lasted this long on my skin. The longevity of the products gets full marks from my side. I like the fragrance and can wear it to office too and it calms down before I reach.
Overall, it is a good EDP but I would want to buy something firmer and stronger and not the typical girly kind of fragrance. I am glad that I tried this perfume. Now that I have 2 of them, probably it would go on for a few years and I might not repurchase it again. So, summing up:

- Strong scent might not be liked by everyone
- Not for the strong, firmer perfume lovers
- The nozzle looks a bit cheap
- Bit bulky
